Chai is a sweet kitty with personality that came to my door one night. I began feeding her since she was small in weight. Some months later, I noticed that she was pregnant and immediately took her in, since I knew the brutal summer heat was almost upon us. Chai has already given birth and all kittens were adopted out to loving families! All that remains is Chai. I have spent many months getting to know this cat and her spunky ways. I would estimate that Chai is between 2 and 3 years old. She would thrive best in a home with no other animals and it is unknown if she will be good around children. She loves sitting on your lap and likes your attention! Although, she is not one for belly rubs and paw/tail touching, she still wants someone’s love and needs human interaction. Please note that I plan on getting Chai spayed at a nearby rescue and $50 would cover half of the cost.

Her mom (Oreo) is my cousin’s cat and earlier this year Oreo became pregnant with 5 babies. Me and my other cousins all chose the cat we wanted and I became a mom to my very first pet. Unfortunately due to unexpected circumstances, I no longer live in that house and the rehabilitation center I am staying at does not allow animals of any kind. I’ve tried to temporarily foster her and I’ve tried to allow my cousins to keep her until I move into my own place. Unfortunately their mother and I are not on good terms and because she does not like me she has been acting weird to Sophia for a few months now. I’m not there to see what’s going on and I don’t want anything to happen to her, especially when I cannot get to her. It would be my dream to keep her but it’s just not possible right now. I came here to get healthy so I could keep her forever but I do not have stable housing for her in the meantime so I just need someone who really loves cats and can give her the love and care she deserves
