She's one of the kitties that does little quirky things when she thinks you're not looking, like dropping random objects into our kitten room water bowl. I can tell she is very intelligent by her eye contact and adorable head tilts. However, she is still shy and will need someone patient and willing to wait for her to come out of her shell. She was rescued as a feral kitten so she has more of her natural cat instincts than our bottle baby rescues. Like most true feral cats she is super quiet and mostly keeps to herself or snuggles with her sister. One of her favorite actives is to sit on the top of the cat tower and study the world around her. She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Feel free to ask any questions or schedule a visit to come and meet her!

Skye is still very mysterious. She was rescued as a feral kitten so she has many of her natural cat instincts and isn't as social as my bottle babies. However, when I ask her if she's hungry she perks up and heads on over to her food bowl. Like most true feral cats she is super quiet and mostly keeps to herself or snuggles with her sister. One of her favorite actives is to sit on the top of the cat tower and study the world around her. I am still working with her to get her to open up. This sweet girl came to us nursing three kittens, but since then has decided to help out our other rescue cats and adopted some of their kittens. She also helps give the other momma kitties baths. She makes little chirpy noises instead of meows and loves being able to sleep in the bed. She was a little bit hesitant to trust me at first, and gets pretty timid in new places. In my cat-proofed yard she tends to get scared and run, but inside the house she will crawl into my lap and purr. Once you gain her trust she is such a love bug. As a mother cat, she takes on a very laid back approach and lets her kittens walk all over her. She acts calm for the most part, but sometimes she gets playful and acts like a kitten. NOTE: Bonded Paid - Amanda: She can be adopted with or without her new friend. However I think they would do better together. They are constantly snuggling and grooming each other. After finishing nursing her kittens she ended up adopting another cats and became her best friend and co-parent.

Freja (named after Freya, the Norse goddess) is a sweet, fierce survivor kitty! She showed up on my doorstep after Hurricane Helene and the Biolab fire, sick and scrawny but with boundless bravery, affection, and a healthy appetite. A few weeks later, she has grown so much and is feeling so much better! She is still getting over some respiratory issues but is doing well otherwise. She is friendly and loves to play with her humans and her furry foster brother and sisters. When she gets sleepy, she also loves to cuddle, curling up on your shoulder or on the crook of your arm She is small for her age, as she was five months and just two pounds when she found us. The vet says she may grow up to be a little kitty, but she is doing her best to become a full-sized cat! Freja is looking for her forever parent(s) who will give her lots of love, room to play, and as many treats as she can eat. Please give this bold and beautiful brown-eyed girl the loving home she has been searching for!
