Story
This little cat was found at our warehouse as a kitten. I started feeding her and she became comfortable with me. She did have a one litter. We were able to rescue two of her kittens. After her kittens were weaned, I immediately took her to my vet where she was given a complete examination, was spayed, received all vaccinations and is micro-chipped. She is Feline HIV and Leukemia negative. Her age is approximately 1 year. Kitty is a very, very playful cat and loves her toys. Her favorite toys are the feathers on a stick or the ribbon. She also likes to chase small balls around the house. She is an extremely affectionate cat and loves to be stroked and scratched on the top of her head. Experienced cat owners are preferred as she can be a little skittish and shy to begin with although she warms up quickly. She would need an owner who will play with her as she is a fairly active cat.

Story
Ember is a spayed domestic shorthair, 1 year and 6 months old, fully up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. She is incredibly smart and calm cat who gets along well with other cats and dogs. Ember loves to cuddle and eagerly settles on your lap, purring for attention and she will sometimes follow you around. She knows how to have fun and enjoys playing when in the mood, with a variety of toys including a scratching post, cozy house, electronic toys, balls, and tunnels, plus an automatic feeder for her comfort. Ember loves watching the world from the window and showcases her intelligence in interactions with people and pets. She is a wonderful cat who will bring joy to your home! Reason for finding a new owner: Unfortunately, I currently do not have the time to give Ember the attention she deserves due to work. She sometimes spends long hours alone at home, and I want her to find a caring owner who can provide her with the love and companionship she needs.

Story
Bastian is an 8 year-old indoor cat. He loves to play and cuddle, but takes time to adjust to new people. Once he adjusts, he is very loyal. He loves his favorite humans, but would fit best in a one-pet household. In general, he is a low maintenance pet. He has never had any allergies or hotspots, and he has a super soft and healthy coat. He doesn't have any chronic health issues or any conditions that require frequent visits to the vet. He is house-trained and responds well to anti-scratch training products. Food, litter box, litter, toys, and a bed will be provided upon adoption.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Birthdate: August 2018   Update: 2022 Dara is an adult now, who looks very much like her kitten pictures. So she is now a big girl and completely grown up. She’s quite shy, but loves people and will take some time to adjust. The best environment for Dara would be a calm quiet home. When Dara is comfortable, she loves to cuddle and get some really good back scratches and cheek love. She still loves her pole toys and human company, Dara currently shares space with two other cats, but what  Dara doesn’t have is a permanent home of her own, where she can share a bed with her human companions. If interested and sweet Dara, You will need to have patience and lots of love and you will get it in return tenfold. 2019 Dara is adorable, her favorite things to do are eating and playing. When she gets her toy, whether it is a small toy or pole toy she gets quite possessive and does not give it up easily. She has one broken pole toy with a rope material that is off. Dara grabs the stiff rope and runs in circles trying to catch the other end. Dara will be shy at first and maybe even hide, but once she is comfortable she loves to be loved and give love. She is good with other cats and gets along great with everyone. You can meet this wonderful kitty with an appointment as we don’t bring her on saturdays routinely. You can fill out an application for Dara at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart or go to www.adoptastray.ws/applications/ to fill out an application online or print and fax one to (954) 965-0406. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.!   We are now located in the very back of Petsmart. Follow the green tall flag signs to the back of the store on Saturdays.   Birthdate: Theodore (Teddy)   Teddy’s story as told by his foster mom:   It’s kind of hard to describe Teddy, because there are so many facets to his personality and his quirkiness. When I got Teddy, I was told he was a demon, a demon! Hardly! But I love a challenge and this is what Teddy is really like. He’s ultra sweet and wants to be loved desperately. My guess is the reason he is the way he is is that he did not receive attention from humans when he was very little. So he’s on the scared side and cats show their scaredy-catness by hissing. Cat people understand that hissing means I am afraid, are you going to hurt me, what are your intentions.    The first couple of days with Teddy consisted of him being in a large cage in my bedroom so that I can talk to him all the time and he would get to know me. On about the third or fourth day, while I was telling him how much I loved him and batting my eyes at him he started giving me loving eyes (his way of showing he was comfortable with me). Within the next few days he would come over to me and head butt my hand and then lick it. He would get up on his hammock and roll on his back, with his paws up in the air kneading constantly. I knew at this point this was no demon, this was a scared kitty who needed somebody to understand and love him. So Teddy moved out of the cage into a bedroom of his own. He may have been slightly happier in a cage because he saw somebody 24/7. After moving into his own room, he was scared the first couple of days and then before long, he was headbutting my feet, legs and hands, and playing with toys (he goes crazy for pole toys). He is desperate for love and attention and still trying to figure things out. He is so excited when he is headbutting me and licking me that he will nip my hands out of excitement. He never hurts me, he just doesn’t know how to show affection yet.    Teddy loves other cats. Probably does better with an adult or teenage cat. He can be a little rambunctious, but he is absolutely used to other cats and would do great with them. What we want for Teddy is a home that will give him time to adjust and follow slow steps in letting him be comfortable and let him get used to being loved. This is a kitty who is going to show you more love and attention, we need somebody who enjoys all his quirkiness and appreciates him for who he is.    March 2022 - Update   Teddy now lives in the foster mom’s home with her dogs and all of her cats. Teddy is confident, thinks that the dogs are play toys even though they are over 60 pounds. He is always bright eyed and happy. Teddy gets along with everybody, even if they are not nice to him, he just doesn’t know somebody’s not being nice and because he doesn’t react the other animal doesn’t react.  You can meet this wonderful kitty by appointment only.   You can fill out an application for Teddy at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart or go to www.adoptastray.ws/applications/ to fill out an application online or print and fax one to (954) 965-0406. Story
Sweet Pea and Sugar Plum are sisters who were rescued from a horrible situation living in a construction site. They are the sweetest kittens who will be happiest if adopted as a pair. Sweet Pea is black with a tiny white patch on her neck. Sugar Plum (last photo) is all black. They are spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. They are about 4 months old and weigh about 4 lbs each. Both are darlings who will sleep by your side and are also happy just cuddling together. They have been lovingly cared for in a foster home since they were 5 weeks old and are very sociable and definitely a bonded pair. They have been exclusively indoors since their rescue and we would like them to remain together as indoor cats. Please consider opening your heart and home to Sweet Pea and sister Sugar Plum. One look into their amber-green eyes and you will be in love!

Story
Kitty Has no name she was abandoned by a bridge on 117th avenue near Edgewater community having taken care of her for a month. She was found in a condition of just skin and bones but still with a rather healthy coat. She is very feisty with a independent attitude but still very interactive and allows you to hold her. she only eats dry food for the most part has declined wet food as well as seems to be potty trained which leads me to believe she has had a previous owner as well. There is evidence of abuse as well as if you approach her suddenly she will meow and hiss at you lay on her back ready to attack so her previous owner must have kicked her out as well, she also reacts to shoes/feet aggressively. all in all this kitty needs work but with consistent attention and gentleness she can be a sweet heart. (we have a big rat problem and she befriends the rats + my pet bird luckily so on top of the fact we are deathly allergic to cats here she isn't doing her job :P)

Hello, this is Titi. I really love her and I don’t want to Rehome her. However although she’s extremely kind and sweet, she’s also an anxious cat. My roommates are constantly fighting, slamming furniture, and scaring her. She’s not happy in my home and I can’t afford to move. I’m trying to find her nice and peaceful home that will give her the life she deserves. She’s super sweet and loves laying in the sun. Once you gain her trust she’ll lay out in the most uncomfortable and silly ways with you. She also has the girliest meow ever that only her favorite humans will hear when she wants affection.
