We rescued Fitz as a kitten in 2014. He is a wonderful, independent and beautiful cat. Not overly affectionate - unless it's feeding time - and not needy. Very chill; sleeps much of the day. He does enjoy interactive toys. Strictly an indoor cat. He is healthy but developing signs of gum disease. It would be helpful to have a dental cleaning, which I am unable to do. Otherwise, he is not a fussy eater and very clean. He is always seeking out food and you cannot leave any food unattended. Due to health issues I can no longer care for him or his brother. Both are going up for adoption. They do not necessarily have to be adopted as a pair. Adoption fee will be donated to local shelter. Serious, financially stable adopters only will be considered

Dior was returned to Paws after 4 years as his family was leaving the country. Dior seems to get along with other cats. He is pretty perfect but does not like to have his belly rubbed! Dior is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for his forever, final home! This kitty has tested positive for FIV, similar to HIV in people. It can not be transmitted through casual contact, sharing food, water, or a litter box. It can not be transmitted to people or other pet species. It is typically only transmitted to other cats via a deep bite wound. FIV positive cats can live long and healthy lives! They do tend to have more dental issues and absolutely must be kept safely indoors at all times.
