Story
Stacy the cat has got it going on! Stacy is a beautiful 1-year-old tuxedo girl with a silky black coat, adorable little white toes, and a sweet, calm personality. She’s a bit reserved at first but blossoms with a gentle touch, leaning right in for petting sessions and melting into chin scratches. This lovely lady loves to cuddle and will happily be your movie buddy, snuggled up right by your side. Stacy has experience with kids and even used to sleep with her former foster’s daughter every night, making her a great fit for a family. She’s excellent with her litter box habits and does fine with both cats and dogs with a proper intro, though she prefers calmer companions who share her laid-back vibe. If you're looking for a relaxed, loving kitty who’ll bring warmth and companionship to your home, Stacy would be thrilled to be your forever cuddle buddy!

Story
It's tough to describe just how cute this little guy and his sister are! His giant eyes and round face are sure to give you cute aggression, not to mention his friendly nature. He's keen to hop on your lap or chest, purring away, angling for every pet he can get. Elijah is on the higher end of the energy scale, so he must have another young (under the age of 3), energetic cat at home to help get out his energy. He would do well with other cats and dogs with a proper intro and should be fine with kiddos too. If you do not have another young cat at home, Elijah must be adopted with his sister Ruth. To meet him, please submit an adoption application.

Story
It's tough to describe just how cute this little gal and her brother are! Her giant eyes and round face are sure to give you cute aggression, not to mention her friendly nature. Though she is slower to warm up to new people than her brother, once she feels safe, she'll be sure to hop on your lap and curl up on your chest, purring away. She is on the moderate end of the energy scale (for a kitten!), and sometimes gets annoyed and her brother's antics. She would do well with other cats and dogs with a proper intro and should be fine with older or calmer kiddos too. If you do not have another young cat at home, Ruth must be adopted with her brother Elijah, because single kittens don't do as well as pairs. To meet her, please submit an adoption application at denverkittens.org/adoptables

Story
Miguel may not look like an orange cat, but don’t let that fool you—he’s got all the orange cat energy you could ask for! This 2-year-old charmer is super friendly, endlessly outgoing, and always ready to strike up a conversation. In fact, Miguel’s meows are practically a language of their own, with a different "word" for every occasion! He's always happy to tell you what's on his mind. Playtime is another one of Miguel’s specialties. He’s a wand toy enthusiast who will happily show off his agility and zoomies, but he’s just as happy lounging around and soaking up attention. We don't know Miguel's history with other animals, but he seems to do fine with cats and would likely do okay with dogs too, as long as he as a proper intro to either. He should do fine with kids too, making him a fantastic addition to just about any family. Miguel’s adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test, deworming, and probiotics to get him started on the right paw. Ready for a lifetime of conversation and companionship? Miguel’s your guy!

Story
Greetings lovely people, Mittens here. I’m a strikingly beautiful, declawed grey girl with innocent eyes that are alert to everything happening around me. Born in 2016. I came to MaxFund in February 2022 because my owner could no longer care for me. I’d been with them all my life. Losing the only home I’ve ever known broke my heart. One important thing to know is that I am diabetic which means I require a special diet and daily insulin. So, I require just a little extra care but I promise it`s not at all difficult -- the medical staff at MaxFund will walk you through everything. Mittens is currently in foster but is still desperately looking for her forever home. Here`s what her fosters have to say about her: `Meet Mittens, a charming feline with a sweet tooth for life and a heart full of love. After spending two years at the shelter, she has found temporary comfort in a foster home and feels she is at her best and ready to commit to her forever home. Despite her occasional sassy hiss, this big-eyed sweetheart is a food-motivated cuddle bug who’s looking for a special human to share her life with. Don’t let her hiss fool you; it’s just her way of saying she’s got boundaries like any lady should. Once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll be your loyal companion, offering purrs and affection on her terms.Mittens is special in more ways than one; she’s managing her diabetes like a champ! With a consistent diet and some tender loving care, she keeps her spirits high and her glucose levels steady. Mitten`s/Roomba’s ideal home is a quiet, stable environment with a guardian/s who understand the needs of a diabetic cat. She thrives on routine and would do best in a home without small children or other pets that might disrupt her peace. If you’re looking for a cat with character and you’re ready to provide the special care she needs, Mittens might just be your girl. Come meet her and let those big, beautiful eyes win you over!``Mittens is a big-eyed, food-motivated sweetheart who`s looking for a special human to share her life with. She’s got a big personality and a lot to say. She’s become queen of her new foster home in no time flat and wasn’t shy about settling in, greeting visitors to the house with aplomb. Mittens loves to be near her humans and hang around the kitchen, where she might grab a nibble. After a breakfast-time lap cuddle with her foster dad, she loves to relax during the day in a cozy spot, and then lets you k

Story
Who’s the new love of your life? Me that`s who. Yep, my name Who. with the jokes, but I am an old gal, so you can’t I am the amazing Who, a beautiful, sweet, 13yr young lady who will warm your heart as soon as you come to meet me. I have been a bit down lately as my brother and I were given up by our human mama after living together for most of our lives. It was so traumatic on all of us, including our human, who needed to relinquish us because she moved in with people who were allergic to cats. It was especially hard on me as my brother looked out for me and was really outgoing so was quickly adopted once we got here, leaving me all alone. I have also been put on some thyroid medication, but that doesn’t bother me too much as it is so easy to take, but it was another change to get used to. The good thing is that there are other nice cats here even if I am really shy and don’t get out much. I guess I am a bit of an introvert now that I have experienced this heartbreak. Here at the shelter, I have a great domed bed that allows me to hide out when I want and watch all the action in my room from safety and warmth. I do get along with children and other calm cats who respect my space. I have a nice toy mouse that I like, but my favorite thing to do is cuddle. Boy, can I cuddle better than most. Especially if you walk up to my second story apartment, I will rub up against you, give you kisses, and rest my head on your shoulder.
