He is curious to be around people, but not quite ready to play or fully interact yet. He tends to observe people from farther across the room. He has started to walk over to sniff humans when everything is calm, and is just now starting to play with a feather wand.  ##2118473##

Story
Stripes is a 4 month old kitten. He is a curious and slightly spicy boy who is bonded with his sister Smoke and likes to play and cuddle with her.  He coexists fine in foster with his brother Raymond. He is learning to trust people and be around his doggy foster brother. He has learned that he likes rubs and immediately starts purring very loudly. Sometimes when you approach him to pet him he is nervous and gives a small hiss, but every day he does this less and less and is getting more comfortable with different people and doesn't mind if you approach slowly. He also started asking for rubs by approaching his foster mom in the morning. He loves playing with the feather wand and wrestling with his sister. He is becoming more and more comfortable with his foster family every day.  ##2118474##

Story
Bast is a beautiful girl who's been with us for over 2 years. She initially was feral and lived in the catio with a handful of other cats. She has now decided people aren't so bad and is friendly but would still do best in a house that respects her space, initially while she adjusts. She sleeps in the silliest positions and has a goofy personality. She has been exposed to other dogs and has been fine but slow introductions with dogs are still highly encouraged.

Story
Adela is a special girl. She has SO much love to give, but as they would say on the Great British Bake-off, she has a very soggy bottom. She has urinary incontinence and needs diapers and frequent baths. We think it's secondary to a congenital nerve issue related to Manx cats. She's been living at the shelter in the Catio for 3 years, but we know she deserves a home where she can receive all the love she deserves. Her adopter will need to take on financial responsibility as primary owner for Adela's ongoing urinary needs and issues.

Story
Champagne and Nougat do not make great first impressions. They were VERY scared and hissy when they first arrived. Now, they'll give a meager hiss with no intent behind it. They enjoy pets and attention and will even make biscuits as a thank-you. They are CRAZY playful and love catnip. They'll need a home who understands that they're not going to wow them on first impressions or run up to the front of the kennel for attention. They'll need time, patience, love and catnip.

Story
Hi - My name is Edguardo! You can call me Ed, Eddie, CAT!, Sir, and Kit-ten. (I also will respond to Kitteh sometimes too. What can I say? I'm a cat.) I am a very sweet, talkative boy who is really good at Litter Box! ( I love my litter box.)You can pick me up and squeeeeze me for about 17.2 seconds - then I'll let you know I want to get down. A few seconds later I'll come back and let you smoosh my tennis ball head.If you give me spankies I'll get up on my back tippy toes and do a little cha-cha. I will sleep at the end of my foster lady's bed sometimes but I will not let her grab me and hold me like a teddy bear for snuggles; I will, however, let her trim my nails - now THAT'S a Good Boy!I've found a few perches around the house where I do Neighborhood Watch or just keep an eye on Foster Lady's stuff. My foster mom would really like to adopt me BUT the dog isn't super into it. We're fine together but it's not a love connection, and I get it - she was there first. I think we'd play together if we had more room but the foster pad is pretty small.I have met the next door cat - he's super cool and we'd totally hang except for he lives in 112 and I'm staying in 114 and neither of us has thumbs. If you'd like to adopt a medium sized, approx 1.5 year old, neutered male - I'm your guy! Fill out an ap at SoulDog.org and let's meet. This animal is in a foster home. If you would like to meet this animal, go to www.souldog.org to fill out an adoption application. When submitting your adoption application make sure to submit a good clear picture of your living room, kitchen, and yard. If you rent, you must provide proof animals are allowed. We will contact references. Once the application is reviewed our adoptions coordinator will send your information to the foster to set up a meet and greet. We ask that all members of the household come for a meet and greet to ensure there are no personality clashes. If you have other dogs in the home and are meeting a dog you must bring them for the meet and greet. Filling out an adoption application does not mean you will be adopting the animal. Doing a meet and greet with one of our animals does not guarantee you are adopting the animal. We will select the family we feel is the best choice for that animal after screening and meeting applicants.

Story
Tiger Jr. is a controversial character at the shelter. He's covered in scars, likely from fights that he picked. He would prefer to be the only cat in a household. He loves who he loves, and ignores who he doesn't. For those that he loves, he's an incredibly affectionate cat and a certified seat-warmer. For those that he doesn't love, he does not allow himself to be seen. Recently, he has started letting more people into his small circle of friendship.

Story
Lickerish plays hard to get, but she does love a good butt-scratch. She will need a more patient and quiet home, but does get along well with other cats. Once she feels comfortable, she is VERY playfulUnfortunately, Lickerish was diagnosed with feline leukemia and thus has a drastically shortened lifespan. She has already been at the shelter for over a year and feline leukemia cats tend to live 3-6 years, total. She loves her sister, Cat Benatar SO SO much and we have decided that they should stay together. While that does put Cat Benatar at risk, we would prefer that they have each other and focus more on quality of life vs. quantity (longevity). Both of these cats are tremendously shy at first and we understand adopting both is a big ask but we know there's someone out there who will adopt these two sisters together.

These pups are in Longmont, Colorado too!

Story
I'm the adventurous one and my foster dad says I'm the leader, maybe because I look a little different than my littermates. My sister Daisy is the best, so you we need to go together because we are really close. When you rub my belly (which I love!) you can see my really cool spots.  I'll be foster to adopt until I'm old enough to be fixed at 12 weeks. So that means you get to take me home, but I'm "officially" your fur baby after I'm spayed.    ##2073479##
