Story
*Reach out and I can provide more*I have had Simon for 7 years. He is a very outgoing cat who loves human interaction, but does have some behavioral issues. I love him with all of my heart but am moving and have new humans (adult and children) and animals in my life, and Simon is unable to interact with them appropriately or safely. Simon can be very affectionate and friendly cat. He likes to be around people, snuggle, watch TV with you, sleep next to you, etc. Unfortunately he also has bouts of aggressive behavior. He will lunge at you and scratch/bite, often drawing blood. I have tried pheromone collars, CBD, calming drops, and prescription medication with no improvement. Simon has been an indoor/outdoor cat the last 5 years. He is very territorial and will not do well with other cats or animals. He prefers to use the bathroom outside in the yard if possible. He currently has 24/7 access to a litter box in the garage. He pees in the litter box but chooses to poop on the garage floor.

Are you hiring? This working cat is seeking a job in a rural environment such as a farm, stable, or garden center where they can enjoy the freedom of outdoor life with the safety of a familiar place and a committed caretaker. Working cats span the spectrum of sociability, with some cats quite inexperienced and fearful of people, preferring to work from the shadows, and some cats who will eagerly rub against your boot and join you for your outdoor chores. Some working cats may amaze you with the mouse catching antics and athleticism, and some may be more hands off, discouraging pests with their presence and scent. Looking for a particular personality? Ask our team about finding the right cat for your environment. To set your new farm hand up for success, we recommend setting up a cozy, confined space replete with food, water, and litterbox. After a week or two of enjoying the amenities of their new environment they'll feel much safer staying put and getting to work. Have a big job? Ask our team about cats that may enjoy working in pairs or groups. All working cat adoptions are fee-waived, with spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and microchip included. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 6.38 Age: 0yrs 7mths 3wks

Story
Gumball is currently in a foster home. Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page if you're interested in adopting or learning more about him!Gumball is a special kitty hoping for a cozy home and second chance with a kindhearted human. Though very stressed by recent changes and the busy environment of the shelter, receiving extra TLC in a foster home has allowed him to decompress and start emerging from his shell. His foster parent describes him as a playful and lovable cat who adores a nice window seat and pets from his trusted human. We expect Gumball will thrive in a mellow environment where he can relax, share affection, and engage in play once he's feeling comfortable. Gumball is available to a home with children 10 or older and without dogs. Contact us to learn more about this sweetheart today! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 12.25 Age: 1yrs 9mths 1wks
