Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website."Hueneme Beach," fondly called "Mia" by her foster family, is a young,  brown tabby cat found on the Port Hueneme promenade with her two 12-week-old kittens. "Mia" loves to play, especially with her toy mice, or by exploring her surroundings. At first "Mia" preferred to find a quiet hiding place to take her cat naps, probably the result of her abandonment, but as she has grown familiar with her foster home she can be found stretched out along the back of a comfy chair where she is never too far from a loving pat from her human friends. "Mia" is very affectionate with humans and likes to be carried around, and she makes the most adorable chirping sounds instead of normal meows most of the time. She is harness trained and likes to go out in the garden with her foster mom, under very close supervision of course, for her own safety! If you would like to meet Mia or any of our adoptable kitties, submit an adoption application today! Considering this rough start, they are understandably still a bit shy.  'Prince Philip' is the only boy of his group and has the sweetness to show for it. His foster family says he is super affectionate & loving with them, and he loves playing with wand toys and the laser pointer. He also loves the other cats in his foster home and is food motivated with treats and his canned food. He is still shy in new situations so a patient home is needed. I love treats and playing hide and seek with the other kittens in the kitten room here at SPARC. My past was a bit scary, and I wasn’t sure how to trust humans or enjoy having my meals brought to me. But now, I’m learning that humans are pretty wonderful and full of love. If you’re looking for a kitten who might need some time to warm up but will reward your patience with trust and affection, then I’m your guy, Boba.

Story
Chewy is indeed a beautiful grey-haired cat who’s still adjusting to the atmosphere, taking their time to feel safe and secure. Shyness adds a gentle charm to Chewy’s personality, making those little moments of trust—like a soft nuzzle or a tentative purr—feel even more special. Every day, Chewy grows a bit braver, exploring the world around them with quiet curiosity. This adjustment period is a reminder of how each cat, like Chewy, has their own pace and unique way of connecting. Chewy’s delicate nature makes them a treasure for someone patient and loving enough to watch their personality blossom. A quiet cuddle session with Chewy promises to be a serene and heartwarming experience.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Give our cats & kittens a loving, forever home, and let them put a smile on your face!     Benji (born June 2024) is an adorable classic, swirl tabby with a velvet coat. This handsome and sleek young boy is very athletic. He loves to scale heights and zoom around! But when it is time to slow down, he is a purring machine – so gentle and sweet as he comes in for nuzzles and cuddles. Benji will keep you company as you work, read, or strike a yoga pose.... Benji loves other kittens and cats (especially his sis Abby or his buddy Fozzy Bear). Benji craves action, exploring and climbing. He follows you to see what fun you will provide. He loves kitty scratching posts, batting and chasing kitty balls and rattle mice, and playing interactively with wand toys. Get ready for high energy zoomies! When it is time to rest, a cat tree or wall mount is a castle for Sir Benjamin to observe the world. He also purrs upon touch and likes to curl up nearby for a deep snooze. In just a little time, Benji’s outgoing nature will shine through.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2024, 12:59 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Give our cats & kittens a loving, forever home, and let them put a smile on your face!     Abby (born June 2024) is a sweet, and intelligent gal who thoughtfully reads the room before jumping into play. With time, her shyness melts and she becomes a dynamic ball of playfulness. Abby is intrigued to watch and learn from her human (or another fun kitty like her brother, Benji). Show her your yoga pose, and she will thoughtfully curl up and study from the side of the mat. Stream your fave tv show or delve into a book, and she will stretch out nearby gazing at you. Abby has a beautiful ticked tabby coat. We think she is an Abyssinian mix. She loves climbing kitty scratching posts and trees and playing interactively with a wand or track ball toy. A cat tree or wall mount is her fortress from which she observes the world and feels safe. In a warm and loving home, Abby’s confidence will shine, and she will delight with her rambunctious, resilient energy. Your patience and love will be rewarded with cuddles and purrs as she rolls in your lap.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2024, 12:59 am
