Story
Sparrow is a sweet, exotic looking young lady ~1 year old who is a bit shy at first but warms up as she gets to know you. She has beautiful stripes in her coat and lovely spots on her belly, with little tufts on the tip of her ears. Sparrow loves to chase a shoestring and use her scratching posts. She also enjoys being pet and looking out the window. Until recently she was housed with another young female kitty, Amelia who just got adopted. She'd love to find a home possibly with another friendly kitty and have room to run around a bit. I'm fostering on behalf of an independent rescue person who saves cats from kill shelters.

Story
Artemis (Arti for short) is a sweet little girl who loves to show you her belly. She is the smallest of her siblings, who were all found with their mom living behind a barbershop when they were 4 weeks old. She is the embodiment of the phrase "tiny but mighty" - whenever she's frightened by something, she puffs herself up bravely and doesn't cower. When she’s not wrestling and snuggling with her siblings, she’s following you around to see what you’re up to. She will need to be adopted with one of their siblings unless there is already another young cat in your home looking for a friend. (You can read more about why kitten pairs are so important here: https://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens) Arti is about 16 weeks old as of mid-October. She is spayed, dewormed, flea-free, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and vaccinated to date. Story
Once we had a theme chosen for this litter's name, Athena named herself the wisest of her siblings! She is definitely the sharpest of her littermates - the first to learn the litter box, the first to wean, the first to find the next level to climb. She is a curious little girl with the cutest round face and puppy-dog eyes you've ever seen! She loves to curl up in your lap after a good meal and purr herself to sleep. She and her two sisters and two brothers were found behind a barbershop with their mama at just 4 weeks old. They all get along wonderfully and need to be adopted with one of their siblings unless there is already another young cat in your home looking for a friend. (You can read more about why kitten pairs are so important here: https://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens) Athena is about 16 weeks old as of mid October. Story
Ares is the fiercest of his litter - when we took him in at just 4 weeks old, he was ready to do battle to defend his mom and 4 siblings against anyone wishing them harm. They had been living behind a barbershop where the owner was going to send the family to animal control. Meow or Never took him and his family in instead, and as soon as Ares realized he was safe, he turned into a curious, happy boy who could be a kitten again instead of having to worry about all the threats that come with outdoor life. Now his favorite pastime is a game of “if I fits, I sits” - the more bizarre, the better! He is also ridiculously photogenic and knows how to turn his head just-so to give you the cutest picture possible. :p Ares is very active and playful, so he needs to be adopted with one of his siblings unless there is already another young cat in your home looking for a friend. (You can read more about why kitten pairs are so important here: https://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens) Ares is about 16 weeks old as of mid October. He is neutered, dewormed, flea-free, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and vaccinated to date. Story
Update March 2024: Tofu does well around other cats, however she is not socially interactive with Humans. Tofu was rescued as young kitten (born at the Rio Cuale) and brought back to our shelter. Despite our efforts to socialize her, she's basically feral. She would need a person familiar with feral cats to live a happy life. So for now, she is with us in Punta Mita, living her best life with food, shelter and the company of other cats.Tofu has had our complete Cat protocol :* Complete Health exam by a Vet* Feline tests to rule out FeLV, FIV & Heartworm* Bloodwork 1: CBC (Mycoplasma check if indicated)* Bloodwork 2: Chem profile* Deworming at intake and monthly thereafter* Vaccines: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), Feline Distemper (FP), Calicivirus (FCV), Rabies* Spay/Neuter* Flea/Tick prevention* Microchipping available

Story
This sweet girl is "Cleo", lovingly named by her rescuer who helps the cats/kittens at the Cuale River. Just a baby herself, Cleo was abandoned, pregnant and extremely malnourished. She lost her babies but was taken into a loving foster home, where it was clear that she had belonged to a family or other home at some point. Her health and nutrition was improved and now she's ready for her furever home. She's already spayed, good with dogs Her unique personality is a perfect blend of playful curiosity and loving companionship. She selectively gets along with other cats but would also thrive as the only pet in the household, soaking up all the love and attention a princess like her deserves.Open your heart and home to Cleo and you'll gain a loyal companion for life.Cleo has had our complete Cat protocol :* Complete Health exam by a Vet* Feline tests to rule out FeLV, FIV & Heartworm* Bloodwork 1: CBC (Mycoplasma check if indicated)* Bloodwork 2: Chem profile* Deworming at intake and monthly thereafter* Vaccines: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), Feline Distemper (FP), Calicivirus (FCV), Rabies* Spay/Neuter* Flea/Tick prevention* Microchipping available Please send us an application at : wetnosesrescue.org/adoption-application-Cats
