Story
This is for two little babies around 5 or 6 months old. They are rescued from living in an alleyway where they kept trying to sleep under cars. Some of the littermates perished due to this. I brought them into my home and took care of the spay and other shots related to first year care (AFRP in Monterey). Raven is very talkative and trills when happy. Puff loves to lay in your lap or chest and is super sweet and soft. I would love to see them both get adopted together. These kittens don't know other folks other than my other 4 cats so they are going to be very shy at first. If picking up, please bring a carrier or two so I can place them into it. I can deliver them if needed as well.

Story
Who doesn’t love an orange tabby with white toes and a bib? Ten year old Junior is looking for a new home. Maybe with you? One where he can enjoy sunbathing and lap sitting as he’s not much for exercise. Weighing in at 18 pounds, Junior is looking for someone that can say ‘no’ to treats and second breakfasts and ‘yes’ to petting and quality time together. Junior lived peacefully with another cat in his previous home, except when it was meal time. He might do best as an only cat so he can continue on his weight loss journey to health and happiness. Junior just had his teeth cleaned and received a clean bill of health. How can you resist him?

Story
Violet is a sweet and gentle 16-year-old brown tabby that was adopted from AFRP as a kitten, and returned to our care when her guardian had to move to a senior living facility. Violet is a happy, affectionate, talkative and curious cat that will be a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a mellow feline friend. She is a wonderful lap cat and enjoys being near her person. She gets along with other friendly cats and might do okay with a gentle, respectful dog. Give Violet a soft blanket and gentle petting, and she is in kitty heaven! Violet is in good health though she does have a condition known as Chronic Feline Rhinitis. This common condition is likely due to a non-fatal virus she acquired as a kitten. This causes Violet to experience congestion, nasal discharge and sneezing. Potential adopters can rest assured that a cat with chronic rhinitis is safe to have alongside other cats. It's similar to humans having a common cold. It's unlikely to spread to other feline companions. With proper care and management, Violet can lead a happy life alongside her furry friends without posing a risk of making them sick. Scheduling appropriate veterinary check-ups and implementing hygiene practices will help ensure a harmonious and healthy environment for everyone. As a result, Violet's adopter will need to work closely with their veterinarian to monitor Violet's health and prescribe a course of treatment when necessary. Violet will come with low-cost wellness care through AFRP's clinic as a part of her adoption! Violet is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our required online application.

Story
She will be 4 years old in March of 2025. She was born to a barn cat and we have had her since she was weaned. She is very easy going, never scratches or hisses. Is not one to climb in your lap but will sit near you if you are still as she wants to feel safe. She loves outside but we have kept her inside for the last year as she was bit by a dog last summer. She currently lives with another cat and gets along well and plays. She is used to eating through out the day on her own and is litter trained. We have had no problems with peeing around the house. She uses her scratching post well and is not one to scratch furniture.

Story
She was born to a stray in our neighborhood in 2003. We have had ever since. Had her spayed at one. She is an easy going cat, will not scratch or bite. Does not love to be held, but will lay next to you. She loves to be brushed. She lives with a 3 year old cat and they play occasionally, chasing each other around the house and wrestling. She also loves to play with hair bands and will chase those as well. She is currently kept in doors but she does love the outside and is a great hunter if you have problems with mice. Her ear is clipped to denote that she is spayed and was originally a stray. We have not had her shots updated since she was one. Would probably be good to get that done. She has not been around dogs so I don't know how she would react to that. She is good at scratching on her post and does not scratch furniture. She is litter trained and we have never had a problem with her going around the house.
