Story
Brief Bio: Tortellini is a skittish girl that needs a lot of time to bond and settle into a home - possibly many months, it will not happen quickly. She is bonded to Burnt Toast and they need to be adopted as a pair.Ideally these two should have a controlled space to be in, a room or separated area that they don`t leave to make catching her easier, should she need to be. She, however is VERY smart and has learned all the techniques used to lure her into a kennel, so while one can be used as a hiding space, it shouldn`t be used as the main form of containment. Summary of Personality: She`s very nervous and is easily scared by people, especially those she doesn`t know; in her new home she will require multiple weeks to months of patience to settle, and even afterwards she will not be a pet me kitty and dislikes being held or caught. She will run when approached, but will take treats from your hand if you sit and be quiet. She is an indoor only cat, the outside will scare her and if let outdoors you will likely never see her again. Home Life: She is terrified of children and dislikes dogs, but will tolerate a dog that is quiet and leaves her alone. Absolutely no children, and preferably no dogs, but she does very well with other cats. Observations of being house trained: She only has accidents if kept from the litter box or is too scared to leave a hiding space. Litter box trained? Yes

Story
Pepper! Pepe! Pepe Le Pew! Pepsi! We have lots of funny nicknames for our lovely tabby princess. She loves attention, playing with toys, and zooming like a maniac! She has warmed up to the foster kittens and resident cats but she would be fine as a solo cat. Pepper has been enjoying the outdoors while in her foster home yet she doesn't mind staying inside and sleeping all day. She's pretty easy going, friendly, nice cat who always says hi when you show up and likes to hang out. She's a damn fine cat! She is being treated for allergies that bother her eyes, but she needs a foster or forever home who can feed her a prescription diet. If fostering we can provide the food. We give her Zyrtec twice a day with treats and she absolutely loves it! She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Please feel free to send an email to her foster Ariana at arianamburrows@gmail.com with any questions or to arrange a meeting!

Story
Shaggy is a wonderful young cat very clever and smart. She's not as into parkour as she once was but is still very playful, so needs to be in a home with another playful cat, like her foster siblings Andy and Elsa. She doesn't care to be held, but wants to be near her people. Shaggy enjoys getting pets and will purr quickly. She's a big fan of playing with toys, watching YouTube, TikToks, and cartoons. Shaggy likes to go for walks on her harness. She has a heart condition that requires her to have medicine twice a day. She's a champ about taking it especially if treats are involved. However, due to her condition her expiration date is shorter than the average cat. Fixed, vaccinated and microchipped If interested please apply on our website friendsoffelinesrescue.com

Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Kira came to me via a string of unlikely chance encounters. The moment I saw her, desperate for food and love, I scooped her right up into my arms, and she's been there ever since. A few days after I brought her into my foster room she became very sick. At the emergency vet her illness was confirmed as panleukopenia, a deadly virus, and she was pregnant. Despite her poor prospects, I was already committed to the supportive care needed to keep her alive as she battled the disease: subq fluids with a giant needle and syringe, antibiotics, anti-vomiting meds, syringe feeding, and lots of love. And she made it! As she's recovered, I've gotten to know her, and she is quite the velcro kitty! She loves to snuggle next to me (not on my lap yet, but mostly laying down), by my head, in the crook of my arm, under the covers at night. She's very talkative and absolutely loves human interaction. She has all sorts of chirps and meows and yells that I'm beginning to decipher. So far Kira prefers the company of people to other cats. She is extremely confident and unafraid, and is absolutely a joy to be with. She's about 2 years old and is pretty mellow so far. She's had her FVRCP vaccination as well as Rabies, she has been spayed and is microchipped.

Story
Jazmine is 14 years old, and I adopted her from the shelter when she was about 2 years old. She is slow to warm, but not aggressive when approached. She loves to get pets and love, but not all the time. She will approach people when she wants to be pet. She loves children and has no problem with other cats, or dogs. She likes to sit on her perch and observe. She is very sweet but is mildly stressed out by the other cat she lives with, and has licked off some fur on her tummy and leg, but it will grow back. She is not bonded to the other cat, but they have lived together for 12 years. I am moving and my partner is highly allergic to cats, so she cannot stay in the house. Jazzy has been an indoor only cat since I’ve had her, but she enjoys some leisure time sniffing outside if offered. She was just given the all clear by her vet, and is a healthy girl. She deserves to be snuggled and spoiled for the rest of her life.

Story
Sassy is 2 years old and scary smart. We adopted her 6 months ago to help deal with a mouse concern and she did great. However, I've come to realize she is unhappy. She is a very affectionate cat and wants a lot of attention, but we are not a consistently affectionate family and are hardly ever home. Outside of her reaction to catnip, Sassy doesn't have any behavior issues. She's happy laying on someone's lap and having them rub her head. She also likes chasing the feathers on a couple of Fishing Pole toys we purchased. Sassy is not a picky eater and eats Delish by Rachel Ray and loves the lamb and salmon flavor. Once or twice a week she is given half a small can of either sardines, kippers or mackerel. WILL DONATE ALL ACQUIRED CAT ESSENTIALS.
