Story
Kit and Kat need a new home! These cuddly siblings have been together their whole 6 years of life and I’m hoping to keep it that way. They are both fixed, extremely sweet, love belly rubs, and do well with dogs and kids. Kit loves to lay around and play with ping pong balls, while Kat enjoys crumpled up paper and playing hide and seek which is why she’s also known as Ghosty Girl. Both come when they are called and have been indoor cats but love looking out the window and would probably enjoy a nice backyard. We need to rehome as we are having a baby in August and don’t have enough space in our little home for the baby and their litter boxes.

Spicy is about 4 years old. I got him from a rescue center and he has been strictly an indoor cat since I brought him home. His microchip is current and can be transferred to a new owner. He’s big on cuddling, enjoys having his belly stroked and his nose rubbed. I have all his papers from the rescue center as well.

Story
Ethel is an adorable, sweet girl. She is affectionate and playful, enjoying her people, her kitty friends and a variety of toys. She came to us as a newborn and seemed very normal until she was a couple months old, at which point her growth stalled and she was in a perpetual state of round cuteness. Lo and behold she is hypothyroid. She takes an inexpensive thyroid medicine twice a day. Ethel has been enrolled in a study at UCDavis vet school, so she will be followed for her first year of life, with the goal of getting her on a once a day dose of thyroid medication. Because her thyroid level is very well controlled Ethel is expected to live a long, healthy life. Ethel is an extra special kitten who will need an extra special adoptive family. Please inquire if you think you are that family. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/IBRI/Cat

Story
We have several litters of kittens to chose from- all colors- Tabby, Black/White, Orange ETC. Many are yet to be listed. Please fill out an application ASAP for priority consideration (link at the bottom). See why we are different from other rescues & Shelters! ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We've been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! Story
About two months ago, an adorable stray cat found us – super friendly, female, spayed, shots (we took her to the vet), no chip, about a year old. Came right up and wanted to be picked up/pets. After searching for an owner and coming up empty, we decided to keep her. She's been great with our family, especially my 8-year-old (no bite or scratching), but unfortunately, she doesn't get along with our two cats. She's affectionate, loves being held, makes muffins and lays down with us, and even greets guests at the door (indoor kitty). We've decided to re-home her since she needs to be the only pet. If anyone's looking (or knows someone) for a sweet, loving kitty, let me know. And we will give you a cat litter box along with her. (Name: Sabine. Nickname: "beans" or Beanie Baby).
