Story
Sonny is a sweet and resilient orange-and-white gentleman who’s ready to share his love with a forever family. Born in December 2015, Sonny has overcome many challenges in life, including being rescued from a difficult situation and testing positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). But none of this has stopped him from being the loving, playful cat he is today. Sonny is a laid-back, easy-going guy who will quietly follow you around, happy to settle down beside you for some quality time. He communicates with adorable chirps and rewards your affection with constant purrs. Despite his mellow nature, he also has a playful side that’s sure to bring a smile to your face. Diagnosed with kidney disease, Sonny has stable on a special diet for over a year, and his spirit remains strong. He’s looking for a caring home where he can enjoy the simple pleasures of companionship, playtime, and cozy naps. If you’re searching for a loyal, gentle companion, Sonny is ready to bring love and warmth into your life. Will you be the one to give him the forever home he deserves?October 28, 2024, 4:18 pm

Story
Holly is a lovely little lady with a heart of gold. Originally rescued by Peter Zippi as a tiny kitten at the end of 2020, Holly was adopted by a kind lady in January 2021 and was thought to have found her forever home. However, life took an unexpected turn, and after three years, Holly returned to us in January 2024. Adjusting to this change wasn't easy for Holly, but thanks to the care and support of a devoted foster home, she has truly blossomed. Initially reserved, Holly has grown into a loving and affectionate companion. She now actively seeks out love and attention, reveling in full-body massages and belly rubs. Her trust has returned, and she even follows her foster to the kitchen at mealtime, chirping with excitement and encouragement. Holly has also become comfortable with her foster's husband, allowing him to shower her with pets and affection. While there are still some hisses between Holly and the resident cat, they are making progress, and mealtime together has helped them grow closer. At just four years young, Holly's playful spirit remains intact. Though she prefers to sleep on her tree near her humans rather than on the couch with them, her presence is always felt, and her company is cherished. Holly's journey highlights the importance of patience, love, and understanding. She's now ready to find a forever home with someone who appreciates her resilience and will continue to nurture the trust and affection she's rediscovered. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will reward your care with devotion and warmth, Holly is the perfect match.October 28, 2024, 4:18 pm

Flower is a tiny dynamo with a heart of gold. This little explorer loves to scamper around, chasing toys and investigating every nook and cranny. But don't let her adventurous spirit fool you; she's also a cuddlebug who loves to snuggle up in your lap and purr for hours. Flower is especially close to her brother Simba, and the two of them would be the perfect pair for any loving home.February 15, 2025, 1:29 pm

Story
Olive is a big, sweet house panther with a personality as bold as his name! He first joined us in January 2022 as a tiny kitten with his three siblings. After some early adventures in foster care, he and his sister, Goldie, were adopted into a loving home in April 2022. But life can be unpredictable, and due to unforeseen changes, both Olive and Goldie found their way back to us just before Thanksgiving 2024. Though he needed some time to adjust, Olive has shown us he grew up to be a curious, affectionate guy. He’s settled into shelter life beautifully and loves following the Volunteers around, always eager to supervise their work. Olive has strong opinions and isn’t shy about sharing them—expect an occasional hiss if something isn’t to his liking, like being evicted from a cabinet or tucked in for the night! But beneath that sass is a total sweetheart who just wants to be part of the action. He’s a big boy with a heart to match and is working on shedding a few pounds, but he’s otherwise happy, healthy, and ready for his next chapter. If you’re looking for a charming, talkative companion with plenty of personality, Olive just might be your guy! And if you’re open to a dynamic duo, his sister Goldie would love to come along too.February 9, 2025, 2:42 pm

Story
Goldie is a stunning tabby girl with a heart full of love! She first joined us in January 2022 as a tiny kitten alongside her three siblings. Their feral mother had disappeared, leaving them to find their way into our care. Goldie and her brother, Olive, were adopted together in April 2022, and we all thought they had found their 'happily ever after.' Sadly, life had other plans, and both returned to us just before Thanksgiving 2024. Though understandably shaken by the change, Goldie has shown us her gentle, patient soul. Unlike her more outgoing brother, she’s happy to observe from the sidelines, quietly taking in her surroundings and waiting her turn for attention. But as she grows more comfortable, she blossoms—seeking out affection, greeting familiar faces, and rediscovering her love for cozy lap time. She’s a big girl (not overweight!), with the softest fur and striking tabby markings that make her even more beautiful. Like Olive, she has her opinions—especially about bedtime—but who can blame her after knowing the comforts of a loving home? If you're looking for a gentle, sweet companion who will reward your patience with love, Goldie could be the perfect fit. And if you’re open to a bonded pair, Olive would love to come along too!February 9, 2025, 3:28 pm

Story
Hi my name is Vader, I am a neutered male, less than 2 years young. I was rescued after a nice Noah’s Bark volunteer heard that me and my siblings were on our way to get dumped in the canyons to be coyote food. My siblings have all been adopted. Now it is my turn to find a furever home. I love playing, I like toys like small stuffed mice and small soccer balls. I have medium length fur with some extra poof near my tail. I am very sweet but take a little while to warm up to new people. I am used to being in a busy home with other cats and dogs, I love being around my cat friends and like sleeping in quiet corners of the house. I also love to sit at the top of the cat tree and observe my surroundings. I would do best in a home with another cat to hang out with. I am ready for a home of my own where I will be loved forever. Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Please follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Noahsbarkdogrescuela.All donations to Noah's Bark are secure and tax deductible. Give a tax-deductible gift to Noah's Bark at bit.ly/NBDonate.
