Story
Fremont must have strayed from his home or been abandoned, maybe left behind when his family moved away. This kitty is extremely friendly and people-oriented, so if he was previously owned, he had no reason to be fearful of people. But when he wandered into a local business, it was clear that he was looking more for a decent meal than for human companionship, though he readily accepted both. The business owners and workers welcomed the cat, and he was offered temporary quarters in one of their cars, with clean, fluffy blankets on the seat, as you see in the pictures. Now housed with one of our foster team members, Fremont is living the life of Riley: plenty of food, plenty of affection and attention, plenty of safe indoor space to roam, plenty of toys. This kitty is ready for adoption, and would be a welcome addition to your household. Neutered, tested, microchipped, FVRCP & rabies vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. Story
Her name, Greta, is an anagram for Great because she is!  So outgoing, so playful and loves to be with people.  Unlike some cats, Greta even enjoys meeting new people.  If you think cats are stand-offish and independent, Greta will change your mind. This super-friendly, super-affectionate kitten has overcome a very hard start in life. She was a "surprise" kitten because she had never been seen by the kind woman who was feeding homeless cats, although other kittens that we suspect were Greta's littermates were seen and rescued early.  When she was trapped she was in really terrible condition and looked quite skeletal.  That was surprising because there was plenty of food in that area, so perhaps she was trapped in a shed or garage for a long-time.  She was so weak that she had several infections, but those could all be treated quickly.  Then it was just a matter of providing plenty of food and love.  Greta responded with purrs and love and grew into a beautiful, well-muscled healthy gray and pale orange tortie girl who loves to make her people happy. Could Greta be your girl? More information & application [ts=1730473302&src=aap]

Story
Pixi is pretty, playful and petite, perky and purr-y.  She's perfect! This girl is confident, curious and very affectionate too.  She and her buddy Woody are wonderful companions for each other and for their people, and just so much fun.  We just can't say enough good things about these two young cats! Pixi was a homeless cat living on the fringes of an encampment of homeless peoples, and perhaps their kindness made her quick to adapt to live as a rescued indoor cat.  Right out the trap she was ready for pets and hugs and began purring almost immediately.  This pretty girl loves to play with toys and to chase and wrestle with Woody, but she also enjoys quiet time birdwatching (through windows), curled up for a nap with Woody,  or better yet, cuddling with you. Please note: Pixi should be adopted with her best friendMore information & application [ts=1730473302&src=aap]

Story
Sugar and Shiloh are oh-so-sweet (hence the name Sugar) siblings who are ready to take over your lap and give you lots of love and purrs. They were found, abandoned by their cat-mama, in a backyard in Los Altos. Fortunately bright white kittens are hard to miss, so a kind homeowner began feeding them and called for help in getting them ready for adoption. Both kittens were exceedingly calm and gentle right off the street, but were a little shy about their new environment. However they adjusted quickly and are exceedingly well-behaved and super-affectionate. Sugar and Shiloh are perfect for a work-at-home life, because they have been "helping" their foster-mom while she works in her home office. That help includes keeping her lap warm while she is on zoom calls, playing quietly with each other when she is concentrating on a deadline, and "assisting" with yoga stretches and meditation when she takes a break. In addition to their calm and loving personalities, Sugar and Shiloh are beautiful, with that very unusual white coat with just a few gray markings; just a gray "cap" and tail.  They are extremely bonded so must be adopted together. They would probably prefer a quiet home but would be fine with older children. Spayed/neutered, tested, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. Please note: Shiloh should be adopted with a littermateMore information & application [ts=1730473302&src=aap]

Story
With the cutest face you’ve ever seen, Ella is a high-energy ton-of-fun in the body of a tiny ballerina. She’s as snuggly and affectionate as she is playful and she’s got a motor that just won’t stop purring. Her sister Kevyn is her best friend and playmate, and these kittens should be adopted together; this is definitely a case of two kittens being twice the fun and half the work! Ella and her sisters Kevyn and Annie were bottle babies, abandoned by their mother, a feral cat who didn't have enough milk to nurse her big litter. Their foster mom lovingly raised them, feeding them every four hours, day and night, until they were strong enough to eat on their own.  So Ella and her siblings are super-loving and affection because they think humans are their mama.     More information & application [ts=1730473302&src=aap]

Story
Kevyn, a rare female creamsicle-colored kitten, will look lovingly into your eyes while she falls asleep on your lap. In fact, for weeks we thought she was a boy as so few orange cats are female! Kevyn’s favorite activity is watching TV on your legs and playing with her littermate. The only thing she loves more than that is (1) playing with her sister Ella, and (2) exploring new people, places and playthings. She’s got BOE - Big Orange Energy. Kevyn and Ella are the perfect pair because they keep each other happy and engaged.  This inseparable pair should be adopted together! Kevyn and her sisters Ella and Annie were bottle babies, abandoned by their mother, a feral cat who didn't have enough milk to nurse her big litter.  Their foster mom lovingly raised them, feeding them every four hours, day and night, until they were strong enough to eat on their own.  So Kevyn and her siblings are super loving and affectionate because they knew their people-mama rather than their cat-mama. Story
Ziggy was found abandoned or dumped in an apartment parking lot in Menlo Park. He was immediately friendly, and let us pick him up and take him home. We were unable to locate his previous owner, and he is not micro chipped. While we have enjoyed taking care of him, we are unable to be a permanent home to him. Ziggy is about 13 pounds, aged estimated by a vet at around 1-2 years old. He is the most friendly and social cat I have ever met. He loves attention and will play non stop. He likes to cuddle and sleep with you. He is friendly with all new people. He is shy and stand off-ish to other cats however. He likes his personal space when it comes to other animals. He loves being picked up and being held / handled. He is definitely a lap-cat. We are hoping that Ziggy can be matched with a loving permanent family with experience with animals before.

Story
Meet Molly, a gentle mama cat who was found at a feral colony with her adorable kittens! Though she's been through a lot, Molly is ready to find a loving forever home where she can feel safe and cherished. Molly prefers a calm and cozy environment, as too much hustle and bustle can make her a bit anxious. In her previous home, she was adored and loved, but the big move across the country left her feeling overwhelmed to the point where she didn't feel comfortable using the litterbox at times. Now, she's dreaming of a quiet space where she can relax, explore at her own pace, and build a bond with her new family. With a little patience and lots of love, Molly will thrive and become the delightful companion she was always meant to be!
