Story
Good day to you fine humans! My name is Tutor, a nine year-old little lady waiting for a wonderful quiet home. As a mature feline, I have wisdom that will help us all throughout the years, which is why I've been named Tutor. Clearly a teacher of sorts, I'll be happy to educate you on the ways of all the important aspects of being alive in this wonderful world. For example, there are certain ways to nap, and we will work on that together-lots. There is also a particular art to eating top-of-the-line cat food. I'll be more than happy to show you that. Most importantly, petting, grooming, and talking to me are the greatest skills you can possess. I will teach you the ways, my little grasshopper, I will teach you the ways (you have to have seen the movie to understand that one, y'know," Karate Kid"). Please come on down to Woods and let's have a chat. You'll see what I'm talking about. Then we can head on back to your place and start this party with some treats...and a nap. Primary Color: Torti/tabby Weight: 14.6 Age: 10yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
Rio and Rico were born in early August. They were found alone in the Santa Maria dry riverbed and brought into SLO Animal Services in early September at 5 weeks of age. They were fortunate to get into foster care after only 2 days in the shelter and have been in foster care ever since. These two bonded lovebugs are ready for their forever home and family. Rio is a playful white with brown tabby girl that loves to tumble with her brother Rico. She can be a little shy at first with new people, but is easily coaxed out to play in minutes. She is gentle, funny, curious, adventurous and athletic kitten. Rio especially likes tiny stuffed mice tossed into the air that she can `capture` and then carry around in her mouth. She loves to be held and cuddled when tired and will reward you with purrrs.Rico is a handsome white with black tux boy that is loving and mello. He purrs when picked up and is first to step out for adventures. He is an easy going lovebug that settles himself on the back of the couch when he has had enough play, content to be near his `people.` He loves to wrestle, climb, explore, and play with his sister Rio. His favorite toys are ping pong balls, tiny stuffed mice, and cat trees! Rico is relaxed, gentle and and easy to hold.Rio and Rico have been growing up in an adult only foster home with two adult cats and have shown good manners. Additionally, they have spent supervised time with the foster`s gentle small senior terrier dog. Please note that the foster dog is indifferent to them; Rio and Rico will likely react differently to a dog that is assertive with them.Rio and Rico would thrive in a home together as they have come to depend on one another for comfort, grooming, security and confidence. They have been introduced to many adults, but no children at this time. They have perfect litter box skills. Both are microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and their adoption includes spay/neuter and a voucher for a free vet exam. For adoption information, please call SLO Animal Services 805-781-4400 and ask for them by their animal number and/or name.Rio A 314349Rico A 314350
