Story
Rollie Pollie has a perfect name. This little girl is just a round bundle of adorableness. She is a little shy but absolutley loves scratches and pets. Once she starts purring, she doesn't stop. She knows her name and will come and greet you when you call her. She is still learning to trust people, so she will need a home where someone can be patient with her while she settles in. She does great with other cats, so feline friends are welcome!

If you don't like trimming nails then I'm not the guy for you because I have extra toes on my front feet. Yep, I'm a polydactyl cat. That's why my feet look a little silly, but it makes it easier to may kitty biscuits when I'm sitting on your lap. I'm a chill guy and like to hang out with people and sleep, be petted eat and repeat. I love all my friends here, but really miss having a home of my own. If you're interested in a friendly cuddle dude. Please pick me!

You'll often find me cuddled with my friend Eddie or asking for pets or food. Two of my favorite things. I've been a bit of a loner since I've been here, but I often think about the time when I had a home of my own and I wish for that again. Please ask about me I have a story to tell, Nora

Story
HOME TO HOME PROGRAM CONTACT: Samantha at samijames0@gmail.com Meet Milo, he is a 7 year old, 9 lb, neutered male that is very sweet and playful. His owner has had him since he was a kitten when he was rescued from a gopher hole at 5 weeks old. His favorite pastimes are finding a warm spot in the sun to take a nap, sleeping at the foot of the bed, and playing with string toys that he can “hunt”. Not much of a cat to pick up and carry around, but he will snuggle up next to you and purr once he gets in a warm spot. Milo is definitely not one of those cats that hides all day long; he likes to be in the same room as his people and is quite social. Fully litter box trained and a tidy cat in general, he’s great at grooming himself, and allows his nails to be clipped with no fuss. Ideally he would like a home where he could be indoors mostly, but have the option to go outside to roll around in the sun and explore. He is good with other cats and children of all ages. Due to recent circumstances his owner is unable to give him the space, time and attention he deserves. She believes he would do better in a different environment where his people are around more, and where he could expand on his cat-ness. If interested in giving Milo a place to call home, please contact Samantha at samijames0@gmail.com

It's my time. My brother Dale was adopted a few years ago and the family wanted me too, but I just wasn't ready. I am now. I'm an affectionate guy who enjoys pets, but I'm big and tall so being a lap cat is not my thing but snuggling up next you real close, ABSOLUTELY! Please fill out an application online.

Story
Kit and Kat need a new home! These cuddly siblings have been together their whole 6 years of life and I’m hoping to keep it that way. They are both fixed, extremely sweet, love belly rubs, and do well with dogs and kids. Kit loves to lay around and play with ping pong balls, while Kat enjoys crumpled up paper and playing hide and seek which is why she’s also known as Ghosty Girl. Both come when they are called and have been indoor cats but love looking out the window and would probably enjoy a nice backyard. We need to rehome as we are having a baby in August and don’t have enough space in our little home for the baby and their litter boxes.

Story
Hello everyone, I'm in search of a caring new home for my beloved 2-year-old domestic short hair (DSH) orange cat Cooper. He's an absolute sweetheart who adores cuddling and is always up for playtime. He's fully vaccinated and neutered, so he's all set and ready to bring joy to his new family. Due to a change in my living situation, I sadly need to find a new loving environment for him. The new place doesn't allow pets, and it breaks my heart to part ways with him. He thrives on attention and affection, so I'm looking for someone who can shower him with the love and playtime he deserves. Ideally he would go to a home with cats (he has only gotten along with other males thus far). Additionally, I have a Furbo pet camera that l'm considering selling. It's a fantastic way to keep an eye on your furry friend while you're away, and it might be a great addition for your new feline family member.

Story
Hi! Meet Phoenix! She is a super sweet adult female cat. She was rescued from my backyard along with her newborn kitten. Phoenix is approximately 3 years old, still intact and is fully vaccinated. She had a rough life growing up outdoors and can be timid around new people. But no worries with a little work she will start to open up and desire attention. She has not been around other cats, dogs or kids since I found her so an empty home might be preferred. I wish I could keep her but I was required to move for work and my new landlord will not allow me to keep her.

Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) Bo and his four siblings were rescued from a local resident’s back yard. A neighborhood kitty had brought her five kittens over to this particular house and was raising her kittens under a deck. At approximately six weeks of age the kittens were caught and sent to a Mission Meow foster home. Bo is equal parts lover and player. He loves being with people just as much as he loves being a crazy playful kitten. Bo tends to get the kitten zoomies more than the other kittens, so it’s possible that he is practicing for an upcoming marathon. Even before it’s time for their wet food, Bo is sometimes patiently waiting by the pet gate for it. He gets super excited when it arrives and meows like crazy. Bo is fond of sucking on a soft fuzzy blanket until he falls asleep. Bo and his two brothers are being fostered in a quiet home with no children or dogs. Although Bo is a social kitten, his foster mom feels that it would be an easier adjustment for Bo if he were to get adopted with one of his siblings. He sometimes gets spooked at strange, loud noises and might run away but he quickly rebounds and doesn’t typically run and hide. Bo gets along very well with all of his litter mates and one of his favorite playmates is another kitten (Axel) that is being fostered with the brother trio. Bo would do fine in a home with other cats and possibly a mellow cat savvy dog. Bo is currently being fostered with Jack and Hansel but he can easily be reacquainted with siblings Jill and Peep. Please consider giving Jack and one of his siblings a forever loving home. Jill and Peep will be ready for adoption soon! ________________________________________________________ ****MEDICAL INFO**** WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity-based rescue with our kitten’s health and your resident pet's health as a priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. We also use high quality food to nourish our kittens. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED by a PRIVATE veterinarian ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION***** By private appointment in Rocklin, CA area, at Bark Avenue Rocklin or foster home. ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc. may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!
