Story
Meet Nibbles, an adult cat with a gentle and friendly nature. He's a little shy at first, but don't let that deter you. With patience and understanding, he'll soon warm up to you, showing his sweet side. Nibbles can be a bit nervous and would thrive best in a home with experienced cat owners who can provide him with the comfort and security he needs. He is also required to go to a home where any children are 10 and over. His favorite spot? A cat tree! He loves to perch high and observe his surroundings. He may do well with other cats in his new home with a slow introduction. By adopting Nibbles, you're not just getting a pet, you're gaining a loyal friend who will fill your life with purrs and affection.

Story
We have several litters of kittens to chose from- all colors- Tabby, Black/White, Orange ETC. Many are yet to be listed. Please fill out an application ASAP for priority consideration (link at the bottom). See why we are different from other rescues & Shelters! ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We've been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. You'll often find me cuddled with my friend Eddie or asking for pets or food. Two of my favorite things. I've been a bit of a loner since I've been here, but I often think about the time when I had a home of my own and I wish for that again. Please ask about me I have a story to tell, Nora

Story
HOME TO HOME PROGRAM CONTACT: Samantha at samijames0@gmail.com Meet Milo, he is a 7 year old, 9 lb, neutered male that is very sweet and playful. His owner has had him since he was a kitten when he was rescued from a gopher hole at 5 weeks old. His favorite pastimes are finding a warm spot in the sun to take a nap, sleeping at the foot of the bed, and playing with string toys that he can “hunt”. Not much of a cat to pick up and carry around, but he will snuggle up next to you and purr once he gets in a warm spot. Milo is definitely not one of those cats that hides all day long; he likes to be in the same room as his people and is quite social. Fully litter box trained and a tidy cat in general, he’s great at grooming himself, and allows his nails to be clipped with no fuss. Ideally he would like a home where he could be indoors mostly, but have the option to go outside to roll around in the sun and explore. He is good with other cats and children of all ages. Due to recent circumstances his owner is unable to give him the space, time and attention he deserves. She believes he would do better in a different environment where his people are around more, and where he could expand on his cat-ness. If interested in giving Milo a place to call home, please contact Samantha at samijames0@gmail.com
