Story
Hello humans! My name is Ellie, I was born approximately 4/25/22.  I’m a beautiful white and grey tabby girl with a super soft short coat. I can be a little timid at first, but I will warm right up to you with some treats!  I am very playful and I love my mice toys, I’ll throw them around in the air and catch them while you cheer me on.  I don’t like to be approached too fast, but I am a secret snuggle bug and will soon be sleeping at your feet every night.  I would do best as the only feline in your home.  I think I could do okay with older calm dogs that aren’t too rambunctious, as long as we do a slow introduction.  I’ve been with my foster for a while now and she is great, but I am ready for my forever loving home.  Could it be you?  I am up to date on all my shots, spayed, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV negative. My adoption fee is $160.February 20, 2025, 10:31 am

Story
Goya is a beautiful tabby and white kitty who is about 5 years old.  Goya came into the rescue from a hoarding situation where he and over 100 other cats were all living in a single-family residence. He had been living in this situation for a number of years, possibly since he was a kitten.  He was malnourished and under-socialized when he came into the rescue.  With care and patience, he has attained the appropriate weight and learned to accept love and pets, although he still is a little shy.  Goya does have a playful side, and after he is comfortable in his environment, he enjoys playing with wand toys and other kitty toys. Changes in environment are scary to him, so upon his arrival in a new home he will need patience and gentleness while he acclimates and grows to understand that he will be safe and cared for. Once he feels safe and comfortable he is a lap kitty.  He does well with other cats after a proper introduction, but it is unknown how he does with dogs. Because of his difficult life experiences, he may not be a good fit in a home with very small children. This fellow has had a hard life and is looking for someone with patience and understanding that will keep him safe and love him for the rest of his life, and in return he will give you his heart.   His adoption fee is $80. Story
Cleo, born 2/15/23 (best estimate) was rescued from a life outdoors right before she turned six months. She is a very shy girl, with humans, but absolutely adores playing with toys, especially flies that sneak in the house, and other cats. She has the cutest little squeak for a meow and does not back down from her giant foster brother cat.  Cleo does not care to be picked up but does adore Churu and will allow pets if there is Churu involved.  We believe she will come out of her shell in a calmer house with older children and chill kitty playmates.  Will you give this sweet kitty a chance?  She’s been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is up to date on her vaccinations.  Her adoption fee is $160.  January 31, 2025, 1:23 pm

Story
Meet Nugget, a youthful spirit with a heart of gold born on 10/22/2023 (best estimate). This sweet and mellow feline is a little shy at first, but give him time and he'll warm up, showing his playful side. He’s especially motivated by wet food and Churu. He's not just a bundle of fun; Nugget is also quite the intellectual, always curious and eager to learn new things. His intelligence is not limited to solo activities; Nugget loves the company of other cats, and he's known to be quite the team player in feline games.  Nugget would do best in a quiet home with other cats to play with, some tall cat trees to hang out on, and a home without children. Nugget is a sweet boy, but he gets startled with a lot of commotion. He does fine around quiet calm dogs. Adopt Nugget, and let his sweet, playful spirit brighten your days. He is up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $160. February 20, 2025, 11:15 am

Story
Hi there, I'm Rudy! I was born on 5/30/2021 (best estimate). I ended up here at the shelter after a hilarious mix-up. See, I'm a curious kitty, and one day I decided to explore someone’s swimming pool in their backyard with my kittens and ended up in a trap and then a scary trip to the vet. Thankfully they discovered I was friendly and not feral, so I didn’t have to return outside to rummage for food and shelter. I'm a bit of a goofball and love to play with toys while I loudly meow at them.  But don't worry, I'm also sweet, friendly, well-behaved, and independent. I love Churu and wet food and will beg for it in the kitchen, but I won’t jump up on your countertops.  Sometimes I'm moody with a bit of an attitude, but hey, I’m a Torti, so the “Torti-tude” is expected right?  I’m not a fan of dogs, but if they ignore me, then I will ignore them. I’m not a fan of being picked up and carried around either, so I prefer a quiet home without children please.  I get along great with other cats and I even nursed a kitten that was not my own. If you're looking for a cat who will keep you entertained with my antics and also curl up next to you at the end of the day, I'm your girl. Adopt me, and let's make our own fun stories together! I’m up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, spayed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $80.January 20, 2025, 9:13 pm

Story
Meet Mistletoe! This charming black-and-white beauty is as graceful as the plant she’s named after. While she may start off a little shy, with patience and love, she’ll bloom into the sweetest companion—treating you to the softest purrs and the fluffiest biscuit-making paws. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Luna is a special needs cat. Although she is currently very healthy, she is felV positive. She will need a home with no other cats or with other FELV positive Cats. She is a very sweet cat and to our knowledge. She has not lived with other cats. Because Luna is so healthy we feel she deserves an opportunity to be someone’s beloved pet. She was tested during her intake process to a rescue and because she was positive she was returned to us. We are primarily a dog rescue, but took Luna in with her dog friend at the time. She would do well in a quiet home, but has been around older children. We’re asking for a nominal donation in place of her adoption fee. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested and microchipped. Obviously she would need to be an indoor only cat.

These pups are in Scottsdale, Arizona too!

Story
Hi my name is Pawcasso! I was born in January of 2020 (best estimate). I’m a sweet sweet boy who is very chill and one of my favorite things to do is to cuddle and sleep next to my human. I was found as a stray and am now enjoying the good indoor life - I love pets and love to eat canned wet food and treats. I am not fond of other cats so will need to be the only cat in the house. When my foster mom brought me home, she had to initially be careful to keep an eye on me while going in and out of the house as I would express interest to go outside - however once I adapted to my foster home I became comfortable with the indoor life. I’m up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. My adoption fee is $80.March 8, 2025, 6:59 pm

Story
Scotty and Diana have been hanging out in one of my grandmas spare rooms since we trapped them back in mid December. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they need to be out by the 1st of February!!! We need a long-term foster, and QUICK!! Have a spare bedroom for these easy keepers? Litter box trained, no spraying or marking and both are altered! Everything you need will be provided, food, litter, veterinary, EVERYTHING! They're both former ferals, so they take some time to warm up. My grandma is now able to pet Scotty Diana takes a little longer to warm up, but was rubbing against my Grandma's leg by the 3rd week! Home check required
