Story
Hello, I'm Achilles My favorite thing to do is Play hide -n-go seek... Im always the hider. I love to play and chase toys! What makes me special is I was brought into the rescue when I was only 6 weeks old after having a tragic accident that caused me to break two of my legs and mangle my tail. After many weeks in casts, a tail and a leg amputation, I recovered with only a nubby tail and a hop to show for it. I have always been a little scared of people but a really am sweet inside. I want my new owner to know I need a home with a LOT of patience. I am not the kind of kitty you bring home and start playing with. I may need weeks to feel safe and comfortable. I scare pretty easy so I will need a quiet home with no dogs or young children. Older teens would be ok. I would do best in a home where I'm the only animal. Don't let this scare you off of me! Once I'm sure everything is OK, I am the biggest love bug! I will want to be pet, snuggled, scratched and belly rubbed! My foster mom put her bed on the floor so I wouldn't hide under there while I was adjusting and it is just low enough that I can climb up. I love to watch TV with my people at night while they give me love. Then I get down and play with all my toys. When I am feeling playful I like to… I love stuffed mice, anything I can hit and then chase after, krinkle balls and string. I love to chase bottle caps too. When it is time to rest I sleep I sleep on the bed or in my hiding spot. I am not only a 3 legged cat, I'm also a chubby 3 legged cat. I never really got the hang of climbing after my accident. I can do stairs and low shelves but tall cat trees are not recommended. When I get spooked, I dart and if I'm up high...I just face-plant. Grace isn't in my vocabulary. I am good with Kids, Cats and I am not good with or unsure around Dogs By nature I am… Energetic, Playful, Very Shy, Loud, Affectionate.November 5, 2024, 10:00 pm

Meet Pizazz My favorite thing to do is Eat and EAT. I sleep a lot also. I enjoy a squeeze up treat at lunch time.  What makes me special is I am an old girl and afraid of new people and loud noises I want my new owner to know It takes a while to get use to new things and people but then I do not like to be alone. I will lay in your lap when it's my idea. I definitely need to go on a diet.  When I am feeling playful I like to… I will play with cat toys but I do not have a favorite one When it is time to rest, I sleep on the floor behind a chair. I have a blanket but after it was washed I do not use it much I am not good with or unsure around Cats, Dogs, and Kids. By nature I am… Quiet and I do not like to be held.November 5, 2024, 10:00 pm

Story
Hello, I'm Gina The Venomous! My favorite thing to do is: I am a sweet, misunderstood kitty. I may look like I'm plotting your death at all times, but I'm actually figuring out how to get you to pet me at my faintest whim. What makes me special is: I was returned to the rescue after my previous adopted said I was aggressive. I am in No Way aggressive. I AM very assertive. I like to be the boss. I like to play but I'm an aggressive player. I love to swat at the dog and hiss which may look mean, but if you watch carefully you'll notice us playing hide and seek, tag and ring around the Rosie around the kitten island. I want my new owner to know: I do play bite (doesn't break the skin) and my foster is doing a good job of breaking that habit by offering different toys instead of hands. Due to this, I will NOT be a good fit for a home with small children. I am SUPER affectionate. I love to rub on your legs, snuggle by your side and receive all the many pets. When I am feeling playful I like to.. (favorite toys): I love to play with the other cats and the dog but they need to be able to tolerate rough play. I always play with balls, string, stuffed mice and dangley toys. Where do I sleep?: I prefer to sleep where ever you are but any comfy spot will do the trick. I am good with: Cats and Dogs It is unknown if I am good with: kids By nature I am: Cuddly, Playful, Quiet, Affectionate, and Social   November 5, 2024, 10:00 pm

This pretty girl is a sweetheart! She is bonded with her brother, Milo. His profiles also posted. She is very sweet and loves to be petted. She also has an independent side. She will meow loudly to let you know she would love for you to pet or feed her. She will melt your heart! We have been relocated far away, unexpectedly, and cannot take both of these sweet cats with us. We are heartbroken about this. Please give her a good home!

Story
Are you looking for a cuddly lap kitty? A kitty who just won’t leave you alone and wants to be loved 24 seven well you have found her. My name is precious and I am precious!! I was brought to my foster mom because I was wandering the streets and I was hungry and needing some lovin. She took me to the vet and had me all checked out. I have really dirty ears and I had a scratch on my eye so I’m still on antibiotics and she makes me clean my ears every single day , but other than that I’m fixed, up-to-date on shots (ouchy) micro chipped and healthy. I just need a little more food to fatten me up. Do you like belly rubs I mean, do you like giving belly rubs because I love them belly rubs and I hope you don’t mind if I eat my food while I’m sitting in your lap that’s my favorite. I still can’t decide if I want food or do I want to be loved it’s a tough decision. Once in a while if I get a little overstimulated, I try to bite, but I don’t bite too hard but with little kids, it might hurt them and I don’t want to do that. I think i would be best if I had a family with a little girl or little boy to love me 24 seven just a little older so they know how to be nice to me. I’m not sure about other kitties yet. I have a foster brother well actually two foster brother kitties, One of them runs away when I hiss at him and the other one just sits and stares. I just can’t figure him out. It took me a couple days to come out of my bedroom, but now I’m roaming and curious about everything and of course I go to my foster mom and try to give her as much love as possible. I know I look too good to be true right?? I do have a couple downfalls. I’m still learning how to use a scratching post so right now sometimes I think all the stuff that’s nice and squishy is my scratching post but my foster mom is teaching me otherwise. I’m not really used to using the kitty box. Don’t get me wrong. I haven’t pottied outside my kitty box but sometimes when I get out of it, I tip it over ok well truth be said I kind of think it’s a play toy too like a really cool sandbox and I kind of cause a mess. I promise to learn it’s just going to take some time. My wish is to be an indoor furever kitty to someone that will love me nonstop. Oh, don’t worry I like to play too! I mean I’m still a baby &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 My adoption fee is $100 and includes my spay, microchip, vaccinations. A meet and greet is required as is a home check before you can call me your own! Please fill out an application to start this procees.November 4, 2024, 4:07 am

Meet Festis (gray/white male) and Comet (black female). This two are littermates.   These two precious babies were found behind Denim and Diamonds in Mesa. During Rescue, one of them jumped underneath a car and into an engine compartment. It took a few people to get the kitten out, but both are finally safe and learning how to love in rescue. Both are in a foster home learning to love and trust. They are exposed to other dogs and cats. They are a little nervous at first and then melt once in your arms. They would love a patient and kind adopter who understands kittens that are nervous at frist.   If you’re interested in one or both of these babies, please submit an application on our website. Their adoption fee will include spay/neuter, current vaccine, dewormer, microchip and FIV/FeLV testing. Adoption fee is $165 for one or $300 for both. The adoption fee covers their vetting bills.
