Story
This is Little Bit - a beautiful young kitty looking for a forever home. Sadly, her previous owner became homeless, and was unable to care for her anymore. She is around a year old, and is still learning how to be a cat. She was not socialized around other cats, and although she is making progress, she is still learning. She does seem to like dogs, or at least is used to them, as she had 3 doggie siblings. Maybe that is why she is always so interested in the dog food! 😂 She is still very much a kitten - playful, energetic, curious, mischievous… Besides learning to interact with other cats nicely, she is still learning some people skills also. She likes attention, but on her terms, and is easily spooked by unfamiliar things. She can be bribed with Churu treats, and will become a great companion with some time and patience. Her favorite spot is a perch up high where she can feel safe and see everything that is going on. She should be in a home with someone who is experienced with cats and is willing to give her the love and time necessary to feel comfortable. Older kids only, and a home without other cats to start (she is particular about who she likes). Cat friendly dogs would be ideal. She is getting close to her one year birthday, and has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and is FeLV/FIV negative. If you would love to give this beauty the chance to shine, please fill out an adoption application at www.valleydogs.org. She is looking for a kingdom where she can be the queen! pattisenechal@yahoo.com

Story
Are you looking for a cuddly lap kitty? A kitty who just won’t leave you alone and wants to be loved 24 seven well you have found her. My name is precious and I am precious!! I was brought to my foster mom because I was wandering the streets and I was hungry and needing some lovin. She took me to the vet and had me all checked out. I have really dirty ears and I had a scratch on my eye so I’m still on antibiotics and she makes me clean my ears every single day , but other than that I’m fixed, up-to-date on shots (ouchy) micro chipped and healthy. I just need a little more food to fatten me up. Do you like belly rubs I mean, do you like giving belly rubs because I love them belly rubs and I hope you don’t mind if I eat my food while I’m sitting in your lap that’s my favorite. I still can’t decide if I want food or do I want to be loved it’s a tough decision. Once in a while if I get a little overstimulated, I try to bite, but I don’t bite too hard but with little kids, it might hurt them and I don’t want to do that. I think i would be best if I had a family with a little girl or little boy to love me 24 seven just a little older so they know how to be nice to me. I’m not sure about other kitties yet. I have a foster brother well actually two foster brother kitties, One of them runs away when I hiss at him and the other one just sits and stares. I just can’t figure him out. It took me a couple days to come out of my bedroom, but now I’m roaming and curious about everything and of course I go to my foster mom and try to give her as much love as possible. I know I look too good to be true right?? I do have a couple downfalls. I’m still learning how to use a scratching post so right now sometimes I think all the stuff that’s nice and squishy is my scratching post but my foster mom is teaching me otherwise. I’m not really used to using the kitty box. Don’t get me wrong. I haven’t pottied outside my kitty box but sometimes when I get out of it, I tip it over ok well truth be said I kind of think it’s a play toy too like a really cool sandbox and I kind of cause a mess. I promise to learn it’s just going to take some time. My wish is to be an indoor furever kitty to someone that will love me nonstop. Oh, don’t worry I like to play too! I mean I’m still a baby &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 My adoption fee is $100 and includes my spay, microchip, vaccinations. A meet and greet is required as is a home check before you can call me your own! Please fill out an application to start this procees.December 11, 2024, 8:40 am

Story
Meet Festis (gray/white male) and Comet (black female). This two are littermates.   These two precious babies were found behind Denim and Diamonds in Mesa. During Rescue, one of them jumped underneath a car and into an engine compartment. It took a few people to get the kitten out, but both are finally safe and learning how to love in rescue. Both are in a foster home learning to love and trust. They are exposed to other dogs and cats. They are a little nervous at first and then melt once in your arms. They would love a patient and kind adopter who understands kittens that are nervous at frist.   If you’re interested in one or both of these babies, please submit an application on our website. Their adoption fee will include spay/neuter, current vaccine, dewormer, microchip and FIV/FeLV testing. Adoption fee is $165 for one or $300 for both. The adoption fee covers their vetting bills. Story
Rehoming a 3-year-old female cat named Ember who is friendly, social, and likes to cuddle + play fetch with little toy mice. Spayed, currently lives with a big dog that she snuggles with. Litter trained. She grew up around other cats, but not sure on her current comfort level with cats. She has lived with us in Mesa for 2 years. We have a huge cat tower, a small cat tower, and litter box that she can optionally come with. Some small other cat toys as well, current food + treats, and a carrier. Reason for rehoming: we have a toddler who is a little too curious about Ember, and it's been making her anxious and afraid to travel around the house. She needs a new home that can give her a safe place to get the pets and cuddles she wants. Basic rehoming fee to ensure that she goes to a good place.

Story
Mister is a 5 year old STRICKLY indoor cuddle bug. As he is an indoor cat, I never got his vaccinations but he is litter trained and healthy. He's very sweet and very vocal. He would rather sit near me or near a window and watch the world go by than play with toys. Cardboard boxes are the exception to that rule. He's not much of a counter surfer but outdoor-curious so doors and windows must be screened. Mister has never been around kids or other cats except his brother who passed 2 years ago. He wants to play with his puppy brother but the pup is rather rough with him so an older dog or one used to cats would be better. I am rehoming him because the property manager doesn't know about him and will charge me extra lot rent.

Story
Socks is approximately 2 years old. He was dumped into one of our cat colonies. He was rolling around in the middle of one of the busiest parking lots of a huge shopping plaza! We immediately snagged him and brought him into our home and rescue before he got hurt. Since arriving here, he has become the most loving and affectionate cat. All he wants is to be petted and snuggled with. Socks is very unique in the fact that he rolls everywhere! He is always rubbing up against the wall or your leg and instantly falls over and rolls around wanting to be petted. He does this all day long! Socks is living with another one of our friendly colony cats, Flower. (Flower is also up for adoption) She is also just as affectionate. They get along great for just meeting one another, which makes us believe Socks would do good with other cats. He also has the personality to be fine being an only cat, IF he was getting a lot of attention from his humans. He definitely needs a friend, whether that be you, another cat, or Flower. He hasn’t been around and dogs or kids, so we are unsure how he would react to them. Even though Socks was found outside, he is NOT an outside cat, and CAN NOT be allowed outside. He is strictly an indoor cat! Socks has been health checked, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. He comes with all his favorite toys, new toys, new kitty carrier, blankie, dry and wet food (he loves wet food), treats, litter, new litter box and anything else he has claimed as his while on vacation with us. If you are interested in Socks please fill out the adoption questionnaire and email it back to us. https://forms.wix.com/r/7207729348810375426

Story
Flower came to us from one of our feral cat colonies. We are guessing she is around 2 years od. She is super super friendly and is always solistitaing attention. She can not get enough pets! But at the same time she is aloof and just does her own thing. She gets along with other cats but can be alittle dominant. She will push her way in to get your attention. She loves to play with her roommate and friend, Socks. (he is also up for adoption) They are from different colonies, but mesh very well together. It would be great if they could go together, but it's not necessary. She a quiet and clean kitty who would do well in almost any type of INDOOR home. Kids are questionable. She can get nippy when your not paying attention to her. She will lightly mouth your hand or shirt to let you know she isn't done yet. Kids would need to be able to recognize her very obvious signs that she gives. Flower has been health checked, altered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and snap tested-negative. She will come with her basic supplies like dry food, wet food, litter, cat cubby, blankie, and toys. If you are interested in meeting Flower, please fill out our questionnaire. https://forms.wix.com/r/7207729348810375426

Story
I took in two kitties from my coworker because they were living in her garage during the summer and wanted them to have a better place to live. I already have two cats and I’m unfortunately moving into a smaller apartment and don’t have the room for them. They get along with other cats very well. They are shy at first but warm up pretty fast and are good when guests are over. They love going outside and playing with toys. Hazel is very cuddly and meows when she wants attention. Bucky is her sister and is more independent, but still loves getting pets.

Bear and Aria are rescue cats, and are very timid and shy at first, but love to come out to cuddle during times of peace in the home. They have grown up with kids and dogs. Our youngest allergies have come to a point where we sadly can no longer keep them in the home. Willing to wait for the right loving home!
