Please ask about their reduced adoption fee!**Age: 1 yearWeight: 4.62kg / 10.1lbsLady... Ahem, apologies, Queen Annabella is looking for her furever home! After being brought to the Calgary Humane Society through no fault of her own, this former mom is ready to start her life afresh with some new friends. Annabella would thrive in a home ready to give her the space and time she deserves. This means no pesky dogs to get in her way! Annabella is a stunning Bengal mix with a vibrant personality and a gorgeous, spotted coat that’s sure to turn heads! This intelligent and energetic girl is looking for a special home where she can thrive—ideally with an adopter who has experience with Bengal cats or is familiar with their unique needs. Annabella is playful, curious, and loves to explore her surroundings, so she’ll need a safe space to satisfy her adventurous nature. Annabella may do well with other cats who can match her energy, but her foster family suspects that slow, patient intros and safe spaces she can call her own, will be key to a pawsitive relationship. While she’s independent, Annabella is also affectionate and enjoys bonding with her people, whether through interactive play sessions or quiet moments together. A Bengal-savvy home would be perfect for Annabella, as she will thrive with a family that understands her need for stimulation and mental engagement. If you’re ready to offer this beautiful girl the active, loving home she deserves, Annabella can’t wait to meet you!

We don’t know much about her past, but she arrived with several other cats, so she may do well with a feline friend or two in her new home. Right now, the shelter environment is overwhelming for her, and she often prefers to hide. But with a gentle approach, Vastra is sure to come out of her shell and discover the joy of being a cat. If you have a quiet space and a lot of love to share, Vastra might be the perfect match for you!

Story
**Chameleon is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee!**Age: 9 monthsWeight: 2.78 kgAptly named as she prefers to spend most of her time trying to hide, Chameleon is a shy little kitten that needs a little extra TLC. Having come from a rough start to life, she`s more used to the company of other cats, not so much with people. That`s why Chameleon would do best in a calm home with a patient, quiet family who can give her the space she needs to come out of her shell. Having another cat in the home may help her feel more comfortable but they have to be slowly introduced to one another to ensure that they get along properly! Once she`s settled, Chameleon will surely blend right into your family, so make an appointment and (quietly) say hello to her today!

Story
Kotia is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. Please email adopt@calgaryhumane.ca if you are interested in scheduling a meeting. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as Kotia is not available to meet on site.Age: 10 yearsWeight: 4.59 kgIntroducing Kotia, a sweet senior lady who cannot wait to live out her golden years in her forever home! This lovely girl came into our care in pretty rough shape, both physically and mentally. She was absolutely terrified in shelter, so after some much needed medical care, Kotia went to her foster home, and is transforming into a completely different cat! While she still hides from loud noises and will sometimes shy away from your hands, Kotia loves hanging out with her people when she warms up. If you`re winding down for the night or quietly sitting on the couch, Kotia would be more than happy to sit next to you and purr her heart away. She is a certified nap enthusiast and is guaranteed to snooze in your bed - with or without you. A funny quirk about Kotia is that she actually *enjoys* belly rubs... Who would`ve thought? You will, of course, have to build up to this, but once she trusts you, she`ll be rolling around on her back for ages. This is everything we know about sweet Kotia so far, but we`re sure that there is so much left to learn. If you`d like to be the one to offer her a calm, quiet and patient home, please email our adoptions team today!

Story
Age: 2.5 yearsWeight: 5.3 kgWith his rough start to life, it`s no wonder that Ace is very fearful of new people. But he`s shown that he`s willing to receive neck scritches and tasty treats as long as you go slow with him! Because of Ace`s timid nature, the ideal home for him would have a quiet, calm family with no young children since they can be too rambunctious for him. As a kitty that was previously allowed to free-roam and has the scars to prove it, offering plenty of enrichment and playtime will keep him at his happiest, healthiest, and safest! Ace has so much love to give, will you be lucky enough to receive it by adding him to your heart and home?

After noting this poor boy limping near their home, his finder brought him to Calgary Humane for help. Sadly, Trinity`s injury required a leg amputation, but he`s recovered well and is enjoying being able to climb and play without pain. He is still gaining comfort around people, and would appreciate a peaceful home that can support him as he continues to grow into the sweet, affectionate boy we know is hiding in there!
