This girl is full of spunk and love for people. She has been with her foster home for many years, as it will take someone with an understanding of the mindset of a textbook tortoiseshell to appreciate what all she has to offer.  For almost two years of her life, Georgie did not get what she needed. She was underfed, underloved, and left craving loving human attention. We don't even think she remembers that time. Wherever she is, she thinks she is the queen. While this can be awesome if she is an only cat, it doesn't always work well with other felines involved. It is definitely on a cat-by-cat basis. Georgie is smart as can be, and demands attention...sometimes at inconvenient times. But she does love her people and she purrs to show it. Currently, she is getting lion cuts to remove the pesky matts that longer-haired cats can get. She thinks she is pretty great when she comes back from getting that done! For someone who would love to have a cat in their life and does not have young children or other cats, Georgie could be a fit. She is a senior, so senior issues will be creeping up. He is a young guy who started out with his sisters and mom in the unknown world outside; running from danger and being taught how to survive. Luckily, when he was still young (about 3 months old) he and two of his sisters (Ginger and Torri), as well as his mom, were live-trapped and brought into the warm safeness of foster care. Midnight has really gotten calm and has been around dogs in his foster home. He kept bugging his foster mom because he wanted her to say the following: I am really soft and cuddly after I get to know you. If you don't want a companion to watch TV with you, then I'm not the cat for you. But, if you enjoy me staring over your shoulder or interfering with your screen time, then I'm your cat! I will also have conversations with you so you will never be bored. We feel that Midnight will do best in a home with a younger cat or adopted with one of his sisters. He would not be a good candidate as an only cat. Dali and Miro have the "art" of love perfected! They are HUGE fans of one another, it is so sweet to witness. Dali is a lap lover extraordinaire, and will let you know that by the purring and biscuit making and the sheer look of contentment on his face. He is such a sweetie he will even share that oh-so-valuable real estate with Miro. Now THAT is love! Sweet but sad, is what our volunteer said about Miss Frida. She is so very very stressed being in an animal shelter, but we will do our very best to find her a wonderful home where she can relax and be loved forever.
