SO, ummmm, my 2 cagemates got adopted recently and now I am all by myself. It feels weird! It's true that I am feeling kind of STRESSED out about this whole change in my life, the other 2 kitties with me just didn't take it as hard as I did, losing everything familiar and dear to us. This girl is full of spunk and love for people. She has been with her foster home for many years, as it will take someone with an understanding of the mindset of a textbook tortoiseshell to appreciate what all she has to offer.  For almost two years of her life, Georgie did not get what she needed. She was underfed, underloved, and left craving loving human attention. We don't even think she remembers that time. Wherever she is, she thinks she is the queen. While this can be awesome if she is an only cat, it doesn't always work well with other felines involved. It is definitely on a cat-by-cat basis. Georgie is smart as can be, and demands attention...sometimes at inconvenient times. But she does love her people and she purrs to show it. Currently, she is getting lion cuts to remove the pesky matts that longer-haired cats can get. She thinks she is pretty great when she comes back from getting that done! I love tummy tickles! I'm half of a bonded pair of cats & our elderly caregiver can no longer care for us. I love playing with toys, especially string and wand toys. My bonded sister, Gemi, is smaller, shorter-haired, and petite, likely the runt of a litter, and will pour affection on you, demanding to sit with you, on your lap, and purr in your face. Gemi (short for Gemini, her adoption month) knows her cue for going to bed to wait at your pillow is when she sees you brushing your teeth, so get ready for bedtime snuggles! We'd love to be adopted together as we sometimes sleep together and groom each other for comfort. We both jump at any hint of toy movement and play! We have happily loved all who have come to feed and care for us and are very comfortable around kids of all ages (unknown with other animals). We are strictly indoors animals but we sure loved it when our owner would open the doors and windows so we get a whiff of the great outdoors!
