If you'd like to meet Spitfire, please read his full profile. Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. www.ggohinc.com Spitfire came to us as a kitten, with his siblings, but they were very afraid and it took lots of love and time for him to warm up to the humans. He now is ready to find his furever someone and home. Maybe Think About ”ADOPTING LOVE”. A note from one of our volunteers regarding this handsome fella: "Spitfire is really becoming trusting of and social with us humans! It is so heartwarming … he even makes sure to come out and greet me with a seemingly smiling face when I am in his room … yes, he actually seeks our love now. Seeing how happy he looks when he is being petted and all, it is hard to believe that he used to be so skittish! We sure do love Spitfire! Hoping and praying that this handsome, playful, deserving guy finds his furever home soon!" This big fella really has come around and is such a beautiful cat. He can still be shy around strangers but don't discount him because of that - he has learned to trust rather quickly and will do so with you, too, if you just give him a chance. He's great with other cats and would love to go into a home with a companion, either one you already have, or with another of his friends from here at the rescue. He's good with children who can respect his space and go slow and not charge at him so if you have children, keep that in mind when meeting him. Spitfire has an approx. DOB of 11/24/2021. Also to mention, Spitfire's eyes are naturally a bit squinty and the redness in the second photo has resolved. He does on occasion need his eyes wiped clean, but that shouldn't be a show-stopper as he allows it without issue. The cropped ear was performed when neutered prior to coming to us.

Story
If you'd like to meet Tess, please read her full profile. Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. www.ggohinc.com Tess was brought in by one of our volunteers after she wandered up to their vacation property looking for help. At the time she was quite thin and had an upper respiratory infection that needed attention. Once brought in, she unfortunately tested positive for feline leukemia so of course, this makes it more difficult for this sweetie to find a furever home. All cleared of her URI, she is ready for adoption. Tess is a very active girl who is affectionate and playful. Our vets are telling us she has a 2018 birthdate, but she acts like a kitten - full of spunk! She is great with other cats and dogs (see her transport photo!). She can get a little over zealous, so children of an older age would be fine but we recommend she not be placed into a home with toddlers. If interested, please do a little research on feline leukemia before contacting us for a meet & greet with her. FeLV+ cats can live long lives if cared for with regular check-ups (at least annually) and a good, healthy diet. They can also co-exist with other non-FeLV cats as long as those cats are vaccinated for the disease. We cannot guarantee what her lifespan will be, but can we really guarantee that with any pet? Tess came to us asking for help - we gave her that and more. We are hoping to find Tess a great home - please consider her.

Story
Meet King. He was born October 16th 2017 to our cat June. He is a very pretty cat with an extra thumb on one front paw. He was loved and raised by my parents. My dad passed way and my mom was living alone with king. They eventually moved in with us. My mom was with us for 2 years and recently, due to dementia moved into assisted living. We have king with us still. He is not loving our big bulldog and our June (his mom) keeps going after him and they are both very stressed. As much as we hate to, we are looking for a new home for king. He likes to be pet but not held. He doesn’t love dogs and tolerates other cats. I do not believe he would do well with children. He is declawed

Story
Hi, I'm Zee, your soon-to-be favorite snuggle buddy! I'm a playful, loving orange kitten who enjoys snuggling, wrestling with my cat foster sister, and exploring the cat wall where I can peek down at everyone. When I'm not busy having adventures, you'll find me napping in cozy spots or happily munching on my favorite treats (punctual meals are a must-I'm not shy about reminding you where the food is if it's late!). My foster mom always tells me how handsome and easygoing I am, and I've done well living with kids, other cats, and even dogs. I do have a playful way of reminding big, bouncy dogs to be gentle by giving them a little love tap if they get too close. I'm still learning not to nibble fingers, but I'm making great progress! If you're looking for a joyful, curious, and affectionate companion who will fill your days with laughter and cuddles, I'd love to find my forever home with you. Come meet me-I'm ready to melt your heart! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
NINA is a young, petite and beautiful medium hair black and white girl with deep gold eyes who is approx. 1 year old. Her fur is very soft and shiny. Nina takes awhile to adjust and trust her person so she would prefer a quiet home and one person she can call her own. Nina loves playing with little stuffed cat toys, chasing the wand toy and toys the foster throws for her. She likes to have her head scratched but not her whole body (she gets overstimulated) – she goes to her foster asking him for head scratches. Nina enjoys hanging out on the foster’s desk while he works at the computer, and her favorite pastime is watching the activity out the windows. Nina has not been around other animals in our program, and we think that is just fine with her as she would prefer being with her person. She cannot go to a home with children as she is curious about what is on the other side of doors. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give Nina her forever home. She would be fine in an apartment just so she has windows to look out, but moving often would be hard on her having to adjust several times. Nina is spayed, FeLV, FIV and heartworm negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are a patient person and will give Nina time to warm up to you and her new environment, call 651-771-5662 to inquire about beautiful Nina.
