Story
If you'd like to meet Tess, please read her full profile. Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. www.ggohinc.com Tess was brought in by one of our volunteers after she wandered up to their vacation property looking for help. At the time she was quite thin and had an upper respiratory infection that needed attention. Once brought in, she unfortunately tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV+) so of course, this makes it more difficult for this sweetie to find a furever home. All cleared of her URI, she is ready for adoption. Tess is a very active girl who is affectionate and playful. Our vets are telling us she has a 2018 birthdate, but she acts like a kitten - full of spunk! She is great with other cats and dogs (see her transport photo!). She can get a little over zealous, so children of an older age would be fine but we recommend she not be placed into a home with toddlers. If interested, please do a little research on feline leukemia before contacting us for a meet & greet with her. FeLV+ cats can live long lives if cared for with regular check-ups (at least annually) and a good, healthy diet. They can also co-exist with other non-FeLV cats as long as those cats are vaccinated for the disease. We cannot guarantee what her lifespan will be, but can we really guarantee that with any pet? Tess came to us asking for help - we gave her that and more. We are hoping to find Tess a great home - please consider her.

Story
In search of a hooman that will love me despite my flaws. I enjoy being petted and cuddling, on my own terms. I like to jump on counters and eat anything, including oil and grease. I have a little fat pooch due to these habits. My current hooman loves me quite a lot. She has raised me since I was 3 weeks old, and my mama was hit by a car. She bottle fed me and wiped my butt. Now she is pregnant and I don't have much appreciation for children. I am easily annoyed by them, and if they bother me too much, I nip or bat at them. She is also concerned that I will steal the babies milk, nuks, and toys. I have to admit, she's right. I am an 10 month old, 13lb, neutered male. If you could put up with my quirks and my adorableness, please message my hooman. Teddy is a bit skittish around strangers, but loves me very much. I think will easily adapt to a new mom or dad if given a chance.

Story
NINA is a petite and beautiful medium hair black and white girl with deep gold eyes who is approx. 1 and 1/2 years old. Her fur is very soft and shiny, and she has a lovely bushy tail. Nina takes awhile to adjust and trust her person so she would prefer a quiet home. She loves playing with little stuffed cat toys, chasing the wand toy and toys the foster throws for her. She likes to have her head scratched but not her whole body (she gets overstimulated) – she goes to her foster asking him for head scratches and attention. Nina enjoys hanging out on her foster’s desk while he works at the computer, and her favorite pastime is watching the activity out the windows. Nina sleeps on the bed at night and is looking for a human best friend who appreciates her beauty and calm demeanor. Nina has not been around other animals in our program, and we think that is just fine with her as she would prefer being with her person. She cannot go to a home with children because she is curious about what is on the other side of doors. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give Nina her forever home. She would be fine in an apartment just so she has windows to look out, but moving often would be hard on her having to adjust several times. Nina is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are a patient person and will give Nina time to warm up to you and her new environment, call 651-771-5662 to inquire about beautiful Nina.

Story
Hello, my name is Elmyra. My children & I were in a property with over 40 cats inside and in the barn. We were rescued and brought to foster. I was in preety bad shape when they got me. THankfully I survived and through it all have become quite bonded with Sweetie. I'm not supposed to have a favorite as a mom but she & I have been through a lot. She and I do everything together Now that we are ready to find our new homes I am looking for one with her. We are friendly, sweet and playful. We get along well with other cats and know what dogs are. I hope you choose to adopt us into your home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 3:58 pm

Story
Rehoming our sweet Mac *with his best friend Larry*. These two kitties have lived together since 2018 and are very bonded. We are rehoming them together as a pair, and keeping them together is a must. Mac is a sweet and gentle soul with a quietly curious and mischievous streak. Mac is easily startled, often timid around strangers, but a super skilled hunter and very playful once he warms up. Mac is picky about his food and quick to let Larry finish the meal. Mac loves a good scritchy scratch session (he'll practically melt if you brush him!) but he's not a snuggle-in-your-lap cat like Larry is. Mac has been such a fun and sweet addition to our home, and a great balance for Larry's big personality. Mac has been having some urinary issues, but we are currently working with a vet on adjusting our litter boxes and trying out some different foods. This is the only time in 6+ years that we've had litter box issues and our hope is to help resolve ourselves soon.
