Story
Blair is a young kitten with years of adventure and excitement ahead of her. Blair is a sweet kitten who will give big purrs when being pet. We paired her up with Milton, an older cat who loves attention and is confident meeting new people. Milton is showing Blair how great humans are and she’s gaining her confidence slowly. These two sweethearts are a perfect matching tuxedo pair. Milton is on a life long urinary care diet. Fill out an application to meet these two amazing cats! Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.- Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html)- Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions.- Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.

Story
Charlie is about 6 years old. A former roommate got him for her son when they were living here. About 3 years old, they moved out and couldn't have cats in their new place. I've been caring for him since! He loves to play with my dogs. It's pretty hilarious to watch because he doesn't back down and sometimes he initiates the play. He is very soft and sweet. He likes to go outside and roam. I have a fenced in backyard so it's never been an issue. He is REALLY fat! The former roommate fed him all the time, mostly with people food. I've been trying since to get his weight down with no progress. But hey, if you like fat cats, he's your match! He is fixed and doesn't have front claws. He does have the back ones. He is an avid snuggler too. If you're in a recliner, he will jump up and sit between your legs purring. He's very easy to love!

Story
From the owner: We've had Mitsu for 4 years. She only has 3 legs, but it doesnt really stop her or slow her down. We found her as a kitten and her paw was crushed, so the vet had to amputate it. She isn't really good with other animals because of it, it seems like she's always kind of on guard. With people she's sweet and cuddly once she knows you. She gets nervous when new people come to the house, but once they've been over a few times, she opens up and shows her sweet side. Needs someone gentle and patient with no other pets.

Story
Hello, my name is Jacque. I`ve been through a lot in my life, I was living on the streets for my whole kittenhood up until November of last year when I found my way to the shelter. Shelter life has been a huge change for me, I`m not very used to being around people and all of the craziness in this environment so I am quite scared. Some might say I missed my socialization window as a kitten, but I am learning to trust. New people coming to touch me makes me a bit nervous, but if I am given time I do warm up and enjoy gentle pets.I may be timid but I love to play and run around, and be up high! I would really appreciate a quiet home that I can feel safe in, and let me come to them when I want pets and attention. • Would prefer to be your only cat• Very playful when comfortable• Needs a quiet and experienced home, very shy• Does not like being picked up or heldMeet Jacque at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats at OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
Say hello to this beautiful lady, Molly Mittens! She is 10 years old and has hyperthyroidism which requires medication twice a day. She can be a sweet girl who enjoys gentle pets, she just takes some time to warm up and adjust. Affection is something she quite enjoys on her own terms! Molly can get a bit overstimulated at times, so she needs a patient owner who can respect her boundaries. In her previous home she was stressed out around younger children, so a quiet home is best for her. She has never lived in a home with other cats or dogs; however, we think she would do best on her own or with low energy cats who will co-exist with her.• Would be happy as a single cat or potentially relaxed cats who she can co-exist with• Very sweet and curious• Has hyperthyroidismMeet Molly Mittens at out shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Molly Mittens, please refer to the link below. Story
Willard and Kade are a mellow bonded pair looking for a quiet place to call home. They are shy but they have so much love to give!Willard is the more outgoing of the duo, he enjoys pets and attention when he is comfortable with you! He can also be quite the playful guy at times. He is quite protective of his friend and they have a special bond together. Willard and Kade will need an owner that will be patient with them, as they take some time to adjust to new situations and people. They would do best in a quiet home without a lot of hustle and bustle. They lived with a dog previously and were quite afraid so a dog free home would be best for them.In their time here in the shelter, Kade and Willard quickly bonded with another cat named Scuttle! They are often seen snuggling together and absolutely adore each other!• Bonded to Kade and Scuttle• Needs a quiet home with no dogs• Slow to adjustMeet Willard at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.
