Story
Nimbus has brought tremendous joy to my life over the last few years. He has been emotionally supportive to me through so much. I'm teary eyed as I write this. My husband is a cancer survivor and we thought we'd never have children. We adopted Nimbus to give us the opportunity to nurture together. When we conceived my now 3 year old daughter, Nimbus knew before anyone else did. He started to lay by my belly when I'd sleep at night. Nimbus is loyal, loving, and protective to my daughter and I. After having my daughter he became very aggressive to other cat that has since been safely re-homed to my uncle who lives nearby. Unfortunately he struggles to adjust to new people in the household (visitors, babysitters, other children). He approaches initially with curiosity and not long after begins to express fear vocalizations (hissing, low growl). He has not lunged but I fear the day he might not be able to evade to get to his safe space quick enough. Exploring rehoming is our last resort.

Story
This is sweet Angel. She is a very petite little kitty that I found living outdoors at a vacant farmhouse. She was definitely not feral, but she was very skittish around humans. But because she was cold and starving, I was able to capture her and bring her to my house in the hopes of finding her a good home. She had obviously been litter trained at some point, so I'm not sure how she got to be living out in the cold. I've been able to earn her trust and her personality has now come out. She is the sweetest, most gentle and darling little girl who just loves to be around her person! She is playful and sweet, uses the scratching pads and litter boxes. Loves to be held or carried around! She would do best in a calmer home without dogs or small children. Other cats would be ok as long as they are not aggressive or mean. She is only still available because this website keeps deactivating her profile.

Story
Meet Mercy (445182) and Grace (448195)! These sisters came into MADACC over the summer as two very fearful kittens. With some time in foster, they have grown in confidence and have discovered that human hands are kind and provide really lovely massages! They also love to play with each other, and the wand toy. Mercy the tuxedo is a huge fan of churu treats, whereas Grace the fluffy tabby prefers the crunch of Temptations treats. The girls would likely adapt to being adopted into different homes, but they would LOVE to stay together if at all possible. Mercy is an adventurous athlete. She loves to run and play before settling down for a snug fest. Grace prefers to Netflix and chill. Grace loves watching Cat TV on YouTube and she adores being pet and snuggled. They are still a bit on the shy, reserved side, so a quiet home with cat-experienced humans would be best to bring out their full sweetness. These girls are being adopted out of foster. If you`d like to meet them, please reach out to their foster human Nicole at schanenn@gmail.com to set up a time to visit them.
