Carol is a unique cat with a queen mentality and a teenager`s attitude. She prefers to keep to herself, making minimal appearances and social effort. If she makes an appearance it`s probably because she`s hungry and is to be fed promptly. As the self-proclaimed inventor of the Resting Hiss Face, Carol exudes great confidence in her appearance. She knows she is a beautiful cat, but she requires you to compliment her anyways. Carol comes off being a bit passive aggressive and will stride through the house like she pays the bills, but she has a soft side too. Once she decides you are worthy of her presence, she will grant you with it. She is looking for a home with an owner that doesn`t mind her judging all of their questionable life choices. An owner that understands they may never be worthy of her attention but will still treat her like the queen she is. Here at the shelter, she enjoyed helping tiny stray kittens without a mom, she was an excellent foster mom! However, she does not possess the patience, nor does she want to share her space with actual children. A little cattitude shouldn`t stop her from finding the right home! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Look at this beautiful boy!! Sundae has become an ICON at the shelter as he has been with us since he was young. He  was found in some bushes outside someone's home, and turned over to one of our volunteers at their church. Sundae is exceptionally tidy about his personal hygiene, always keeping himself perfectly "catscaped". His beautiful fur is always gleaming white. He likes to be seen so you can normally find him sunning himself in our front window or on the highest perch of a cat tree. He is a friendly boy, he loves to be pet and spoken to (if you are telling him how handsome he is) but doesn't love to be carried...probably because he likes to saunter on his own for maximum attention. He is selective about other cats ex. who he will nap with or who he will share a cat tree cubie with. He seems to be partial to the gingers as he can often be found napping or hanging out with Shortcake. Sundae is not a rough play kind of guy.  If you have a window with a comfy seat for Sundae and Shortcake in your home, they will happily become your best friends.
