Say hello to Leroy! This handsome kitty was found as a stray with a purple leg. Some really mean people shot Leroy with a paintball gun. Can you believe that! Even after going thru that painful experience, he is a love bug! His favorite past times are sitting in the window watching birds, and getting brushed. This mellow kitty gets along with other cats, and is FIV Positive. If you would like to meet this sweetie please go to furryfriendswa.org, click adopt and fill out an application.  ##2044590##

Hi my name is Edie Dingee and I’m looking to rehome my kitty! My family was having some issues with their rental agreements and so I agreed to take her into my new home thinking it wouldn’t be an issue (I recently moved here from Washington) but recently my landlords let me know that I had until the 1st to find her a new home:( she’s a really amazing cat I’ve had her since I was 4, shes vaccinated and is neutered, she’s calm cuddly and is good with kids and adults.

Story
Wolfie boy is beloved. I feel he's the best cat I've ever own. My heart aches as I feel I must leave my current living situation and facing some financial instability and as I won't have a stable Home for a while, and travel and stay with family, I can't offer him what he needs. He's special to me and I'm scared to rehome him and have some guilt but I think if I find the right person I'd be okay with it all. He's such a friendly and social kitty. Chirps and trills and makes lots of eye contact haha. He's fun and playful and has a lot of affection in him. He'd be a great family cat and loves people. Totally good with other cats he lives with one now and is curious about dogs but the ones that have come to the house have terrorized him unfortunately so he's still figuring it out. But my take is he wants to be friends with em. He just doesn't like being chased down by a dog

Story
Meet Stella Sweetheart! Stella is a stunning medium haired cream tabby with the softest fur around! This ginger girl is a rare beauty indeed (only 20% of orange cats are female). Stella's name is so fitting - she is the sweetest girl around! She is an extremely affectionate girl who loves head scratches and will push her head into your hand for more pets. She is a very easy going girl who just needs a sunny place to nap and a human to love! Stella is the perfect mixture of playful and loving! She loves all her kitty toys and likes to pounce and roll around with them. Watch her playful side here: https://youtube.com/shorts/nLRJWO73pVE?feature=share. Stella unfortunately endured a hard life before being rescued. She constantly searched for food in garbage cans just trying to survive. When the trailer park she lived in was condemned and people left, her chances of finding food became even more scarce. Despite this, she kept having litter after litter of kittens, but being extremely malnourished, she couldn’t provide for them, and tragically, most of them didn’t survive. Her motherly instincts remain strong, but since the other cats in her foster home aren’t fond of her attempts to "mother" them, she’s taken to nurturing her toys instead. She’s incredibly affectionate, especially with her foster family’s 9-year-old child, and even gets along with their 90 lb dog! While Stella is still learning how to interact with other cats, she’s eager to play and love! She is looking for a family who will continue to help her learn the finer things in life! If you’re looking for a gentle companion who enjoys relaxing and being pampered, Stella is the ultimate addition to your family! Don’t miss out on this gorgeous lady! Our goal is simple: to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing dogs and cats of all breeds from the streets or overcrowded shelters, where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Your interest and support mean the world to us and to the animals we serve. Story
I am quite the traveler! When we lost our home in Florida during Hurricane Ian, we came to the PNW to find a new place to call home. However, recovering from the financial loss has been tough on my mom and we've been staying with her friends. We're grateful for a roof over us but I've been cooped up in one bedroom for way too long because the resident cat is very hostile to me! Mom figured I'd be better in a home of my own, especially since I've been Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive since I was born. It was thought I had shed the virus but I guess not. That means I need to be your only kitty or I could live with another kitty that has FeLV if they want company! I'm a very sweet girl and have a few tricks I like to try. I like to try to get the top off the treat jar with my paws. When I think it's time to get mom up, I try to nip her nose to tell her it's time to wake up. I also try to straighten her hair by pulling at the crown. I loved my prior housemates. Jody, 90 lb German Shepherd and Domino, the 14-year-old male cat. It takes me a little time to feel secure and warm up but I've gotten so much better since traveling by car from Florida and being confined for the past couple of months! If you have room in your heart for a sweet girl and no other cats, or one like me, fill out at application and let's meet to see what we think of each other! You won't be sorry!November 5, 2024, 12:47 pm
