Story
Cats-the most effective, affordable and environmentally friendly pest control method! The barn cat, also known as a feral cat, is a domestic cat, usually of mixed breed, that lives primarily out-of-doors, in a feral or semi-feral condition on agricultural properties, usually sheltering in outbuildings.Individuals interested in adopting barn cats must be able to provide the cats with shelter, food, water, and vet care. Barns, outbuildings, factories, and warehouses are all considered suitable shelters for the cats. All barn cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated against rabies, and ear-tipped.If you are interested in adopting a barn cat please fill out the adoption questionnaire and a member of the adoption center team will contact you!*cats pictured are not available*

*The pets pictured in this posting are just ad pictures not available pets.*The Yakima Humane Society provides care for thousands of animals each year, some of which require time in foster care before they are ready to be adopted. Fostering a homeless pet is both a rewarding and enriching experience; it is also great for families or individuals who love animals but cannot commit to having a full-time companion animal. The care that dedicated Foster Care Families provide is invaluable, both to the animals fostered and the people that adopt them. You can foster as much or as little as you like, and we need foster homes for a wide variety of animals - kittens, puppies, cats, dogs, and an occasional small & furry animal! You can learn more about our foster program and fill out an application athttp://www.yakimahumane.org/get-involved/foster/.*The pets pictured in this posting are just ad pictures not available pets.*

Story
Meet Gully! I’m a 5-month-old kitten with a sweet and gentle personality. While I can be a bit shy at first, I warm up quickly with a little patience and loving attention. Once I feel comfortable, I enjoy being held and petted. I have a playful, goofy side too—I love making forts, flipping my bed over to snuggle inside, and lounging in my hammock. Crinkly toys are my favorite! I’m ready to find a forever family who will cherish me. Could that be you this holiday season?

Story
This is a courtesy post. Please contact Brian at the phone number or email below This is our sweet orange boy Gingersnap! He is shy at first but very friendly and loving once he warms up to you. He's great with small dogs and kids too, my girls used to love to pick him up and drag him around like a rag doll. He has a great relationship with his Brother Oreo. Oreo is a big striped teddy bear. Very friendly he loves to cuddle and sleep at the foot of our bed. He's an amazing mouser and is also great with small dogs and kids. They do best together and have never been apart since they were kittens. We're very sad that they have to leave because of newly discovered allergies, but they'd make amazing pets for the right people! Both are around 2 1/2 years old and are neutered.
