Story
Meet Mable! Mable is living in foster; here is what her foster family has to say: Mable is very sweet and a little nervous with new sounds or situations and prefers to hide in a safe place like under a towel or blanket until she is sure it'ssafe to emerge. When she is relaxed, she is talkative with a cute meow and will play with small fabric mice toys. She prefers to be pet with one hand (two hands reaching for her is scary) all over her head, cheeks, chin and neck and across her back, to her tail. She loves to have the base of her back near her tail, above her back legs rubbed and crouches sticking her booty up in the air. She prefers to sleep on the pillow next to our head at night and in general, loves to be close to her person! Mabel may do best in a quiet, predictable home with children over 6. Mabel is currently living in foster. Please apply for her directly from her adoption profile, or email adoptions@kitsap-humane.org. Primary Color: Black Weight: 7.6 Age: 7yrs 6mths 0wks

Story
I am looking to rehome my young adult male cat, Tigger, to a home that is a better fit for his personality and needs. Tigger is healthy, neutered, litter-trained, and very people-oriented. He is confident, alert, and forms a strong bond with his human. He does best as the only cat in the household, as he struggles in multi-cat environments and becomes stressed when he has to share space or attention with other animals. Tigger would thrive in a home where he can be the sole pet and receive consistent, one-on-one companionship. He is not aggressive toward people and enjoys interaction, he is very good with kids, no previous experience with dogs. This decision has been made thoughtfully with his long-term wellbeing in mind. I want to find him a stable home where he can feel secure. I am happy to answer questions and would like to ensure this is a good match. A small rehoming fee will apply to ensure serious inquiries only.

Story
I am looking to rehome my young adult male cat, Hunter, to a calm, stable home that suits his gentle personality. Hunter is healthy, neutered, litter-trained, and very sweet with people. He is shy at first, sensitive, and observant, but once he feels safe he enjoys quiet companionship and staying close to his person. He is not aggressive and does not initiate conflict. Hunter becomes stressed in high-arousal or chaotic environments and would do best as an only cat, or possibly in a very quiet home with an experienced adopter who understands sensitive cats. He thrives on predictability, patience, and a low-stimulation routine. This decision has been made carefully with Hunter’s wellbeing in mind. I want to find him a peaceful home where he can relax, feel secure, and come out of his shell at his own pace. I am happy to answer questions and would like to ensure this is a good match. A small rehoming fee will apply to ensure serious inquiries only.

Story
Hi there, I’m Summer! I’m a refined, sun-loving lady , about 5 years young, looking for a calm and cozy home . My favorite pastimes include lounging in warm sunbeams, gazing out the window like the queen I am , and gracing my humans with affection—on my terms, of course. I’ll swing by for some pets and happily curl up next to you when the mood strikes, but I do value my independence . I’m a very quiet girl, so if you’re looking for a peaceful companion, I might just be your perfect match . I prefer to be the only furry royalty in the house (other animals totally cramp my style), but I’d make a wonderful friend for someone who wants a low-maintenance, mellow buddy. Despite my chonky physique, I eat a normal amount and don’t ask for much—just a comfy spot and someone to admire my fabulousness . Think we’d be a good match? Let’s meet! If you have fallen in love with Summer, please go to www.springbranchrescue.org for an adoption application ##2377219##
