My favorite pastimes include lounging in warm sunbeams, gazing out the window like the queen I am , and gracing my humans with affection—on my terms, of course. I’ll swing by for some pets and happily curl up next to you when the mood strikes, but I do value my independence . I’m a very quiet girl, so if you’re looking for a peaceful companion, I might just be your perfect match . I prefer to be the only furry royalty in the house (other animals totally cramp my style), but I’d make a wonderful friend for someone who wants a low-maintenance, mellow buddy. Sunflower and Pepita are two of the cutest seeds, and some of the sweetest, too! Sunflower and Pepita are brothers and about 10-years-old. And they ooze charm! Pepita and Sunflower are quiet, mellow boys who are happy to snooze most of the day, get cheek rubs and chin scratches when they are feeling snuggly, and gaze out the window when they need some entertainment. Both Pepita and Sunflower can be on the shy side and will likely do best in a quiet, predictable home with just teens and adults, where they can settle in at their own pace. We don’t know if Sunflower and Pepita have ever lived with other cats or dogs, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Meet Cricket! He is a 3-year-old domestic medium hair with an ultra-chill personality and a gentle, easygoing nature. He’s great with people (including kids) and coexists well with dogs and cats, though he’s more of a laid-back observer than a social butterfly. Cricket enjoys quiet enrichment like chasing balls, playing with noisy toys, lounging on the couch, and casually exploring his surroundings. He does have ongoing medical needs, including a prescription z/d wet food diet, daily seizure medication that he takes easily, and regular grooming and dental care. Despite this, Cricket is unfazed by life and takes everything in stride. He’s not demanding, happy to accept affection on his terms, and would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone comfortable managing a simple medical routine.
