Story
Meet Stella Sweetheart! Stella is a stunning medium haired cream tabby with the softest fur around! This ginger girl is a rare beauty indeed (only 20% of orange cats are female). Stella's name is so fitting - she is the sweetest girl around! She is an extremely affectionate girl who loves head scratches and will push her head into your hand for more pets. She is a very easy going girl who just needs a sunny place to nap and a human to love! Stella is the perfect mixture of playful and loving! She loves all her kitty toys and likes to pounce and roll around with them. Watch her playful side here: https://youtube.com/shorts/nLRJWO73pVE?feature=share. Stella unfortunately endured a hard life before being rescued. She constantly searched for food in garbage cans just trying to survive. When the trailer park she lived in was condemned and people left, her chances of finding food became even more scarce. Despite this, she kept having litter after litter of kittens, but being extremely malnourished, she couldn’t provide for them, and tragically, most of them didn’t survive. Her motherly instincts remain strong, but since the other cats in her foster home aren’t fond of her attempts to "mother" them, she’s taken to nurturing her toys instead. She’s incredibly affectionate, especially with her foster family’s 9-year-old child, and even gets along with their 90 lb dog! While Stella is still learning how to interact with other cats, she’s eager to play and love! She is looking for a family who will continue to help her learn the finer things in life! If you’re looking for a gentle companion who enjoys relaxing and being pampered, Stella is the ultimate addition to your family! Don’t miss out on this gorgeous lady! Fall in love here: https://youtu.be/AomL9IhM3p8?feature=shared Having spent so much time on the streets searching for food, she is now very food-motivated! She considers herself a wet food connoisseur and is always the first one to dinner time! She will shower you with love after dinner time and snuggle in for a food coma nap! Phoebe is in an amazing foster home! She is currently fostered with several resident kitties and a dog. Story
Meet cuddly Brixie, a delightful one-year-old long haired tabby looking for a cozy home! Brixie is a beautiful, sweet and gentle cat who loves people and would be great with getting attention from all the people including cat savvy children. She also loves other cats. Unfortunately we think she's scared of dogs so a home without dogs is probably best. This sweetheart adores cuddles and will happily curl up in your lap for a cozy nap. She has the most beautiful pattern and the softest coat! And you can’t forget about those gorgeous eyes! Brixie would rather be hanging out with you over playing with toys. You can even hold her like a baby and she’ll take a nap in your arms! Calm and affectionate, she loves to snuggle in her favorite spots and enjoy a relaxed day. Whether you have a family or just need a loving companion, Brixie is ready to fill your home with warmth and joy. She's excited to find her forever home, whether it’s in a house or apartment—just as long as it's filled with head scratches and cuddles! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
