Story
I came in with a dozen other felines during a spay, neuter roundup.  I was so thin, malnurished, my fur had no shine, lots of dandruff.  I acted all bad and mean, but I was just scared.  The volunteers at CVAS were so kind with me, and worked with me.  I was put on a good diet, brushed, spayed, given shots and meds to help me feel better.  Now I am a beuatiful, full figured feline, with beautiful green eyes I am told.  I love to be rubbed and am waiting for the purrfect family to come and adopt me.  I would make an amazing insde/outside feline once I have been in my new home at least a month. I eat 1/4 - 1/2 cup of Diamond Natural Cat Food. ##2056722##

Story
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing Derby, a magnificent black and white medium-haired girl who is about 50% fluffy-tail. You'll note that Derby has a "tipped ear" (the very tip of her left ear was surgically removed). This indicates that Derby was part of a feral colony on which we did Trap-Neuter-Return. Her destiny SHOULD have been to go back to her colony with the rest of her family, but she let us know she was not TOTALLY opposed to the idea of humans in her life. Yay! Derby has been spending time in a loving foster home, where she gets along beautifully with the other cats and has learned how to play, and how to accept affection from her foster parents. She will continue to blossom in a calm and patient forever home, until one day you find her curled up next to you when you wake up - awwww! Shy kitties take a little longer to settle in to their families, but the wait is worth it. Do you have enough cat-whisperer in you to continue the wonderful progress with Derby? Here is some information on adopting a shy cat: https://anticruelty.org/pet-library/adopting-shy-cat Judging from the results many of our prior shy-cat adopters have achieved, these shy kitties often become the most devoted and affectionate family members when allowed to blossom at their own rates. Video Coming Soon All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Derby is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
INTRODUCING WINNIE, ROBIN AND GRETCHEN! This feline trifecta are the sisters of Jasper and Sylvester, who were also posted recently. Their little family was in desperate straits when their mother was hit by a car. Fortunately for them Becca, one of our wonderful fosters, rushed to their aid and has been caring for them ever since. Our black and white beauties are about 2 months old. They've been spayed, wormed, had their first kitten shots and are very good girls with their litter box. They're being fostered with other cats and kids and get along great with everyone. Very friendly and playful, they'll bring lots of smiles to the lucky families who welcome them home. They'd love to be adopted with one of their siblings, so they always have a buddy to play and snuggle with. Two kittens mean twice the love for you too, and what could be better than that? Here's what Becca, who knows them best, has to say about her little charges: Though all her siblings are very sweet, fluffy Robin is the sweetest of all. Very dedicated to her important job of lap warming, she's guaranteed to keep you nice and toasty through the cold months ahead. Winnie, our other fluffy girl, is as lovable as she can be and quite the talker. She'll be happy to tell you how her day went and ask you about yours as well. After all, a good conversationalist needs to be a good listener too! Gretchen, with sleek short hair, just had to be different. Full of energy, she's more independent than her sisters. There's just too much to explore in her brand-new world to be a couch potato. That doesn't mean she wouldn't enjoy a nice long snuggle, while she recharges her battery. Welcome one of these sweethearts home for $65, or make everyone happy and adopt a pair for $120. To meet them, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. Your holidays will never be brighter!
