Story
Meet Stella Sweetheart! Stella is a stunning medium haired cream tabby with the softest fur around! This ginger girl is a rare beauty indeed (only 20% of orange cats are female). Stella's name is so fitting - she is the sweetest girl around! She is an extremely affectionate girl who loves head scratches and will push her head into your hand for more pets. She is a very easy going girl who just needs a sunny place to nap and a human to love! Stella is the perfect mixture of playful and loving! She loves all her kitty toys and likes to pounce and roll around with them. Watch her playful side here: https://youtube.com/shorts/nLRJWO73pVE?feature=share. Stella unfortunately endured a hard life before being rescued. She constantly searched for food in garbage cans just trying to survive. When the trailer park she lived in was condemned and people left, her chances of finding food became even more scarce. Despite this, she kept having litter after litter of kittens, but being extremely malnourished, she couldn’t provide for them, and tragically, most of them didn’t survive. Her motherly instincts remain strong, but since the other cats in her foster home aren’t fond of her attempts to "mother" them, she’s taken to nurturing her toys instead. She’s incredibly affectionate, especially with her foster family’s 9-year-old child, and even gets along with their 90 lb dog! While Stella is still learning how to interact with other cats, she’s eager to play and love! She is looking for a family who will continue to help her learn the finer things in life! If you’re looking for a gentle companion who enjoys relaxing and being pampered, Stella is the ultimate addition to your family! Don’t miss out on this gorgeous lady! That's why Three Little Pitties Rescue is on a mission to make a difference. As a nonprofit dog and cat rescue, we work hand in hand with the community to combat this crisis. Our goal is simple: to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing dogs and cats of all breeds from the streets or overcrowded shelters, where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Your interest and support mean the world to us and to the animals we serve. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission to give every animal a chance at a happy and loving home! Our rescue is dedicated to making a difference. Story
Oscar is a smart, friendly and sassy guy. Up until a couple of years ago he was living outside on his own and is now enjoying the comforts of also going indoors and having fosters and cat friends who love him. Oscar's exact age is unknown, but estimated to be 8-10 years old. He currently shares a space with two other cats (male and female) and gets along well with both and loves to play and snuggle with Rudy (also available to adopt!). He LOVES to play with toys and also garden with his foster Mom and hang out with her while she's working on art.    Oscar's ideal home would be one with cat savvy adopters that are used to "cat-itude". He is very friendly and loves to be around his people and to be pet but he can get sassy and a bit feisty on occasion when he's not getting his way. Having been a cat that was outside for multiple years, Oscar does enjoy the ability to go outside for short periods of time. He would be very happy having the ability to go and lounge in a very safe and secure cat-proof yard or a catio. Oscar does well with other cats with proper slow introductions, but cannot be in a home with dogs or young children (the cattitude!). He is now litterbox trained since coming into care, but can be particular about placements of litterboxes and also sharing. With multiple litterbox options he is good to go. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All available animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites. All cats/kittens are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Some cats have been vaccinated for rabies. Adoption fees are cash or check only. November 4, 2024, 5:11 pm

Story
I was surrendered by my owners` landlord would not allow them to have me. I am a very sweet girl. They called me a lovebug. I use my litter box. I ate Meow Mix, but I would be open to trying other options. Sometimes I get little black crusties in the inner corner of my eye and sometimes I get waxy ears, but it doesn`t mean I`m sick. It just happens. I love my toy balls with bells inside and feathers attached to them. I let the staff hold me and pet me. My owner said that sometimes I can get overstimulated and nibble, but I don`t want to hurt you. I just need a home that will love me and cuddle me. Please fill out an application for me and call the shelter to ask to come and meet me!

Story
Nyx is a sweet polydactyl tuxedo girl about 6 mos old.   She and her sister Persephone have extra toes on all their paws that look like mittens - too cute!  The vet clinic double checked that no extra claws were present between their toes, so are not worried about potential issues in the future.   Nyx is incredibly sweet and loves handing out kisses. She’s a bit skittish around new people, but once she chooses her designated person, she'll pop up onto your lap for a cuddle.  She's also big on bedtime snuggles!   Nyx loves her feather toys and laser pointer. She also loves her sister Persephone, and would like to be adopted with her if possible.  Nyx leads their little 'one brain cell' duo. She's an independent girl but loves the comfort of being around her people   If you think Nyx (and perhaps her sister, Persephone) would be a great fit into your heart and home, please contact Laura at 540-272-3506   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All available animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites.
