Story
B&W female kittenAngelica was born in March. She is very shy but will bond with love and attention. She is used to a mom and has little interaction with a dad.  She has not been around dogs and children, so young active children and active dogs would probably stress her out. she is fully vetted.November 20, 2024, 12:12 am

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I am under 6 months old and need to be adopted with one other kitten or adopted into a home with another cat. Cats are actually incredibly social beings and we thrive when we have feline friends from an early age. Hi, I’m Antwone! Life started off pretty rough for me and my sisters, Bree and Simone. Someone found us abandoned in a box at a landfill—can you believe that? But our luck turned around when a kind soul rescued us just in time. We were saved by one rescue and then brought to FOHA, where life got so much better. Now, I’m living it up in my foster home, and let me tell you, it’s the best! I’m what my foster parents call “the boy” of the family. I’m a total charmer—always wanting to be around my foster parents when I’m not busy running and playing with my siblings. When my foster dad comes in, I’m quick to jump onto his lap and even his shoulder—it’s my favorite spot! And when I’m ready for a nap? You’ll find me snuggled up in my foster mom’s lap, all cozy and content. Oh, and guess what? My foster family has two big dogs! I LOVE one of them so much that I treat her like she’s just another sibling. I also play great with both my sisters, but sometimes I'm a little rough for Bree's liking. You'll see me the most with my sister Simone we love to wrestle, and I’d really love to find a home with her or another playful cat. Though my foster mom would feel like she won the lottery if I could go home with BOTH my sisters! If there’s a new cat in the picture, I’ll need a little time to adjust, but I promise I’ll get there! I’m an extra special boy with so much love to give, and I can’t wait to find my forever family. My foster parents say they’ll miss me like crazy, but they know I’m ready for my next big adventure. Could it be with you?

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Squeaks! He is a 8 month old kitty. Squeaks is a bit timid and shy but once he knows you, he loves you! Squeaks likes other cats and is young enough to learn to live with dogs who are cat friendly. He would love to be adopted with his brother Mittens but it's not required. Squeaks will need to go to a forever home with another young cat or be adopted with his brother. This kitty is up to date on vaccines, is microchipped and neutered. The adoption fee for this kitten is $150, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the kitten is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to help you to find a great match). Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** **You must be at least 25 years old to adopt an animal from Canines & Kitties Rescue.** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. Cats adopted through Canines & Kitties Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). *If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application. *
