Story
Meet Pekoe and Kombucha!! These one year old brothers are super sweet, gentle-natured, and as unique as their tea-inspired names! They’re ready to find their furever home together….could it be with you?? Pekoe is adorable with his silky, medium-length tuxedo coat, fluffy white “neckerchief” and zig-zaggy tail! He greets anyone who comes to visit by sitting and staring with his round-as-saucers eyes until he gets a proper hello, AKA a pet and even a belly rub, then he’s off on an adventure of any kind. Pekoe is always up for high speed games of pounce and chase or a rassle session with his bestie brother, Kombucha. But if Buchy is busy or napping, that’s ok because any toy will do, or even just gazing at the sights and activity out the window. Pekoe is very good at self-entertaining! Kombucha is the more laid-back of this bonded pair. This sleek, black-and-white cow-boy with incredibly soulful eyes loves people! In fact, he often prefers to cuddle up with you (or on you) and watch Pekoe look for and find his own entertainment! But don’t worry, when the mood is right, Buchy parkours off the walls as well as his sibling!! His tail is his most unique feature, it is straight for 1/2 the length, then knotted, with the end dangling like a ponytail….so cute!! These two boys love their Fancy Feast chicken gravy lovers wet food! Pekoe had some stomach sensitivities which have since resolved, so it would be best to stay with their current diet. Their Fancy Feast food is a great choice because it’s widely available online, at pet stores, and even most grocery stores :). They also eat some Purina Beyond Grain-Free Chicken & Egg dry food, but only a small amount, so it’s important for them to continue mainly with wet food. Churus are their treats of choice, but watch out! They’re going to compete for the best spot in your lap to get in the most licks! It’s a cat attack and the competition is ON!! Hope you brought two (or more) Churus to share!! YUM!! Pekoe LOVES to play in the crinkle tunnel while Kombucha’s favorite toy is the automated spinning butterfly toy and hide-n-seek feather!! They also like the ball track, jingle balls, rattle mice, poms, and of course SPRINGS!! And they’re great at using scratching posts and cardboard scratchers.🙂 A nice cat tree is a favorite spot to climb and hide, and watching out the window is their preferred sleepytime activity. Pekoe and Kombucha have always been playmates. Even as tiny kittens in a litter of six, these two rassled each other before they could even walk! 🤣Needless to say they are a bonded pair, and these sweet boys need to be adopted together. Story
Nick and Nate are a bonded pair who must be adopted TOGETHER! They are attic babies! They were found in an attic and BTKR rescued them and they’re been in their foster home ever since. They came in very spicy but are very cuddly now, and they get more adventurous every day! They love exploring their foster home and discovering what items can be used as toys. Speaking of toys, their favorite are strings! They love to eat and sleep all day long - their foster mom says “In my next life I want to come back as a cat please!” 💙NATE💙 was the spicier one for sure, but you’d never know it now! He loves to follow his brother Nick around and act like he’s tough, but he’s really not - it’s so cute! He doesn’t let you grab him often but when he does he purrs and purrs - he’s such a sweet boy. He loves ball toys and sleeping on the shoe rack. 👟 He loves Temptation lickable treats! He hates the vacuum. 🩵NICK🩵 loves all toys, but strings are his favorite! His foster mom loves how adaptable he is - he can play with his friends or alone. After a play session, he loves sleeping on the couch. He goes feral for lickable Temptations! When giving him squeeze-up lickable treats he will hold your hand so he can eat it faster! When you’re petting him, he will let you know if you stopped petting him too early by yelling at you 🤣. Like his brother, he’s not a fan of the vacuum, and he doesn’t like the broom either. They get along great with other kittens and cats, but haven’t had any exposure to kids or dogs. Story
***MUST BE ADOPTED WITH PENGUIN*** Hello world, meet Frosty!  He was rescued by a Virginia Beach resident working as a contractor in Jordan as part of his efforts to save some of the many, many street cats of Amman. As his time working there winds down, he’s desperately seeking loving permanent homes for them in the US - how cool would it be to add one of these babies to your family? Not everyone has a Jordanian cat, after all! He is a floofy, all white male cat who was rescued after his foster saw him struggling to survive in the middle of winter in the center of a very busy traffic circle.  He was underweight, and his fur was falling out in clumps due to malnutrition.  He also had a slight case of calicivirus which required several teeth to be removed. Fortunately, he was rescued in time and has blossomed into an amazing and affectionate house-cat! Frosty loves to play and races around his apartment playing tag with his feline roommates.  He is also obsessed with water and will come running every time he hears water start flowing.  He will sit by the sink and get himself drenched as he swats at the water coming out of the faucet!  Although he’s not too keen on being picked up Frosty excels at being a lap cat.  He will sit on his foster human’s lap and lick his nose to say hello after a long day’s work. He doesn’t have any experience with dogs or children so his ideal forever home would not be with either of them.  He gets along very well with all of his foster cat roommates though.  His absolute best friend is a floofy tuxedo cat named Penguin. They bonded together when they were both rescued at the same time and nursed back to health together in the same room.  The two of them are inseparable and will snuggle together and wrestle like brothers.  For that reason, they MUST be adopted together so this dynamic duo can spend the rest of their lives together. Frosty is almost a year old now.  He is fully vaccinated, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
**MUST BE ADOPTED WITH FROSTY*** This floofy tuxedo fellow is Penguin! Originally, Penguin was a Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) but he expressed his desire to be a house-cat when he hitched a ride under his foster’s truck all the way home!  After an amazing journey like that his foster couldn’t put him back out on the streets so Penguin got his wish and started his journey as a spoiled house cat. Penguin absolutely loves to play!  Whether it’s with his kitty roommates or the silly plastic spring that he carries around the apartment, he is always in action.  His nickname is “Jumping Bean” because that’s what he does when he plays with his plastic spring.  He will throw it around and bounce up and down after it.  Just like his namesake, Penguin also loves water and will sit at the sink and swat at the water while he “helps” his foster human do the dishes.  He also likes to combine playing with his love of water and will “drown” all of his toys in his water dish before playing with them.  This is especially funny when he drowns his stuffed fish! He is a very, very affectionate cat and demands to be picked up and will chirp and squeak in disappointment if he is set down before he gets all the cuddles he demands! He will give headbutts and nose boops to greet his foster human and nestle beside him as he sits on the couch and watches television.  His fur is very soft and fluffy and his tail is almost as big as his body! Penguin has never interacted with a dog or children so they might not be the greatest homes for him to be placed in.  He gets along well with all of his foster cat roommates but in particular, his BFF, a floofy white cat named Frosty.  They have been a bonded pair ever since they were rescued together and have become inseparable.  Therefore, they must be adopted together, as we do not want to separate these two amazing friends after all they have been through together. Penguin is almost a year old, microchipped, up to date on all his vaccinations and FIV/FeLV negative. Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
**Buzz and Woody are bonded so they MUST be adopted TOGETHER** Woody and his brother Buzz spent their first six weeks of life living in attic insulation with zero human contact. It took a lot of time and patience to earn Woody's trust, but he's grown into a healthy, happy, playful boy and we're so proud of him! He has super soft fur and the fluffiest tail, and despite his shyness, he enjoys being petted. He has a very tiny little voice that he uses whenever he's dismayed or startled by something.  Woody is all about his food! He likes wet kitten food and dry kibble and any kind of treat, but he loves squeeze treats like Inaba Churu. He loves the ball chaser, wand toys, and the play tunnel. He likes to sleep on the cat tree and his foster mom's bed. He gets along great with the other kittens and cats and two small dogs in his foster home. Due to his somewhat shy nature, Woody would do best in a home with older kids or no kids. Woody does not like to be picked up or carried around, and he hates nail trims. His foster mom loves seeing how far he's come from the tiny, scrawny, frightened kitten he was when he first arrived in his foster home. He went from a kitten who hissed at you if you even looked at him to a happy little boy who likes to be with you! Woody is bonded to his brother Buzz and they MUST be adopted together.  Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
Turtle and Tuck are bonded and must be adopted together. They both feel most comfortable and confident when they're with one another and love chasing, wrestling, and napping together.  Turtle is a charming grey and white floofer with a darling personality. Although he and his brother started life outside, these kittens have learned all about the wonderful life of a house-cat-- Pets! Treats! Toys (especially chasing springs)! He's a little nervous in a new environment, so he'd love to be in a home with gentle, patient family. He's good with older kids and adult cats, but probably would not enjoy living with a dog. Turtle loves attention and will demand pets and roll over to get his belly rubbed. He is the first to come trotting out in the morning to greet his foster mom and get some love.  Tuck is a handsome, sleek tabby boy with soulful eyes and adorably big ears. Although he and his brother started life outside, these kittens have learned all about the wonderful life of a house-cat-- Pets! Treats! Toys! He's a little nervous with new people, so he'd love to be in a home with gentle, patient family. He's good with older kids and especially loves adult cats, but probably would not enjoy living with a dog. Tuck can be reserved at first, but once he opens up, he's an absolute sweetheart. The way to win his heart is with wand toys and tasty treats!  Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

HI! Thanks for noticing me! This is what my foster says about me:Peno is a sweet but independent girl. She has the typical tortitude! She loves back scratches and tail swips but is not a fan of being picked up or held. She gets along with other cats and non reactive dogs, but not totally in love with kittens though She is respectful. She has never been around children and I would only recommend teens or older in her forever home. She still startles easily but does not normally hide. She loves to talk and will let you know when it is mealtime! She will sleep in bed with you.She is totally litter box trained and eats well. Loves kitty treats! She will play with cat dancers for hours and this will be a great way to help her with confidence with her new family. In short, Peno will make a wonderfully quirky family member. She will be the best kitty!
