Story
My wife and I found this pair bonded (sisterz) living around some apartment dumpsters in Church Hill during this recent cold snap on the Thanksgiving Weekend. We have cat-aggressive dogs so we cannot permanently rehome them and we travel frequently for work so we are looking to rehome them as soon as possible. These two are extremely well-behaved kittens and according to my wife (who has had cats her whole life) these are the best behaved and easiest to handle cats she's ever had. They'd make a great Xmas surprise for your family! They must be re-homed together because they are pair-bonded.

Story
Chili was found on a chilly evening while helping a friend with her colony of cats. He was all alone, emaciated, and cold to the touch. After a very rough start, he not only survived, but thrived. He’s incredibly cuddly, loving, and gentle, and Chili’s favorite pastimes include sleeping on your lap and/or sleeping with his “older brother” Tiny and carrying around toys. Chili would love to either go home with Tiny, who is another foster of mine, or to a home with other cats. He gets along with every animal he’s met and warms up instantly to strangers. He is about 2 months old currently, and purrs adorably when you kiss his forehead.

Story
So many stories in the rescue world about cats and they all seem to have the same start all too often and too sad.  This stunning grey tabby and white boy is called Chester, he is just barely one year of age and born to a stray momma cat.  Living outdoors all his life, his momma brought him and his littermates to a family house where she hoped to be fed and to care for her litter born outside a home.  Somehow her 4 kittens survived and here is Chester to prove that miracles can happen for these lost and forgotten mommas and their babies.  Chester is now a very handsome 13 pound boy that has been invited inside a foster home and is being given the wide berth to relax and make himself at home as a pampered and well fed adult cat.  He’s still super shy and will hide a lot under the bed, but he is starting to come out for some play time and chin scratches.  In just 4 days he has made such strides and advancements to allow toys to entice him to come out several times without fear and allow his new foster mom Joyce to pet him and given him chin rubs.  He is learning to be petted and to trust this new foster mom.  He and his littermates are all grown up but very young and they are getting better with the litterbox training and are eating with a hearty appetite.  We feel that time and patience will see Chester and his siblings stay out from under a bed or in hiding more and more as they learn they are safe and have a promise of food and love every day for the rest of their life.  If you are interested in helping Chester learn daily how to receive love and be happy with being touched, then please email us and ask to foster him or adopt him.   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com we are anxious to find a capable home to love him all the way. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.  November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
My name's Bushi! I am around 1 years old and love being the life of the party. I love jumping while trying to catch my favorite toys and love to lay on your chest to sleep. I'm also a professional biscuit maker and love being cuddled! I'm really just a big baby. I prefer being the only cat in my home and can get a little spicy, but that may just be because my brothers right now are elderly. I'm looking for a new home where people will be able to play with me and give me attention often!

Story
**Looking for the sweetest cuddle bug? Meet Ripley!** Ripley is a brave older kitten who has overcome a rough start in life, but you’d never know it by her affectionate nature. She absolutely adores being around people and will follow you from room to room, eager to be a part of your day. Watching her discover new things like toys and treats is a joy – it’s as if she’s experiencing the world for the first time. Ripley has been fully vetted: she’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and has a clean bill of health. All she needs now is a loving family that will give her the forever home she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to cuddle up with during your favorite TV show or be your little shadow around the house, Ripley is your girl. She’s ready for a lifelong commitment – could that be with you? Our rescue operates with an open adoption policy, meaning we keep in touch for the cat’s lifetime. We love building connections with adopters and getting updates through pictures and videos. When you adopt from us, you gain not just a new pet but a support system for life.
