Story
Dill is looking for a loving home, ideally with someone who is available to love on him consistently, as that is all he truly wants out of life. He was declawed at some point (sad), but also makes him very harmless and would do well with other pets and small children. He is UTD on vaccines, clean recent blood panel, no potty issues (he is not picky about litter - uses pine pellets now), and only eats dry food. He occasionally plays, but wants snuggles the most. He will cuddle at your feet all night, snuggle in your arms like an infant, or will curl up in your lap. He was indoor/outdoor, but is now just indoor. Occasionally, he might follow you outside if you let him, but he will follow you right back in. His preference is to be inside 100% of the time and/or be near you. I'm rehoming him as I will be traveling a lot for work soon and he needs a home where someone is present. I have a young child, so I know he does well with them. He's very submissive/docile and I've had no issues.

Story
Wants to snuggle on the couch. Sometimes takes a little time to warm up to new people, but when she does, she melts into a little puddle of purrs and stretches in your lap. Loves other cats and dogs. She thinks a pit bull is her mom. We are not sure how she would do with young children, but good with kids who are calm and/or old enough to be patient with her. She loves tassels, string, and red laser pointers!

Story
My name is Momma Maribel and I am a beautiful grey and rust colored Tabby girl that had a beautiful litter of 7 kittens in a wonderful foster home 10 weeks ago.  I am a really laidback girl that is easy going and loving.  I just kind of sit back and observe and then snuggle if you have a lap for me.  I was a stray and outside my whole life until I was discovered by a very experienced foster mom who took me in and let me have my precious babies there inside a home.  Outside is where so many moms and their kittens land with no protection.  I am very savvy about life and yet I am eager to find a home of my own.  I am just about a year old and ready for a forever family to welcome me with open arms.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to have an adoption form sent to adopt me.  I would be SOOOOO excited. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 18, 2025, 8:58 pm

Story
Oh, Dottie!  The name Dottie is a diminutive form of Dorothy, which itself is of Greek origin, meaning “gift of God”.  This little lady is just that, a gift.  Dottie was found in the bleak landscape of a country trailer park, in an abandoned trailer in southern Tennessee.  No,   we are not in Kansas!  The trailer may have been destroyed by a tornado, but little Dottie and her littermates somehow survived.  That trailer is barely a memory for Dottie.  She is enjoying the comforts of a safe house, with warm beds, and towers to climb, and balls to chase.  What is that catnip stuff?  That is great fun!  Is this the Emerald City?  This place is great!  What a wonderful wizard, indeed.  You don’t need to be a wizard to see what a cutie this girl is.  At around four months old, Dottie is long and lean.  And adorably covered in dots!  Actually, she is a black and white tabby, with an adorable white bib on her chest.  She has a lot of growing to do, and will quickly fill out with all these daily meals.  No more scavenging.  She is really learning to love her crunchies.  And, simply earning to love.  The name Dottie conveys a sense of warmth and affection, and is associated with a lively and playful personality.  This is exactly what you get from Dottie.  Such a gentle spirit.  A sweet little soul.  Still a little timid, she is learning to trust and to cuddle with her human foster.  But it is not hard for her to do!  Follow the yellow brick road, Dottie!  It will lead you to your forever home.  No ruby slippers needed to click, just four white paws!  But little Dottie is ready to go home.  Will that be your home?  Please, no wicked witches with broom sticks, or dark, dingy castles for this lovely girl.  This little munchkin has earned her hot air balloon ride, right into your heart!  Can you hear her purring?  There is no place like home…..there is no place like home…..there is no place like home…July 22, 2025, 9:49 am

Story
Meet Moochie – An Orange & White Gentleman with a Playful Spirit  Moochie is a handsome 5-year-old shorthair orange and white tabby with a personality as warm as his sunny coat. His journey hasn’t been the easiest—he was found outside of an assisted living home by a kind lady who cared for him but, sadly, couldn’t keep him. Now Moochie is safe in foster care and ready to find the forever family he deserves. Don’t let his age fool you—Moochie is still a busy, active boy with plenty of spunk. One of his favorite pastimes is “bird TV.” He’ll happily perch by the window for hours, chattering and pawing at the glass as he tries to catch his feathered friends outside. He also enjoys playing with the other cats and even gets along with the dogs in his foster home, showing that he’s a social guy who likes being part of the household. While Moochie isn’t a big fan of being held, he more than makes up for it with his sweet nature and affection in other ways. He’s a friendly boy who loves kisses and enjoys being close on his own terms. He’s the type of cat who will bring comfort and companionship without being overly demanding—a wonderful balance for someone who appreciates both independence and affection in a feline friend. Moochie is also fully litter box trained and well-mannered, making him an easy addition to the right home. He’s playful, curious, and loving in his own special way—a loyal companion who will brighten your days with his gentle presence and silly antics. If you’re looking for a cat with personality, charm, and a big heart, Moochie is waiting to meet you. Could this orange-and-white sweetheart be the one to fill your home with love and laughter?    Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    All our cats and kittens are in loving FOSTER HOMES that are socializing them and showing them the love of a family.
