Story
Venus is a sweet and dainty girl but do not let her cute happy chirps fool you! When she is ready, she can have zoomies with the best of them that are hilarious to watch! She can be a little shy at first but give her a few days and she will be your best friend and new shadow! She loves to cuddle up next while enjoying ears and chin scratches. Venus is very playful with string toys and springs and loves to sit in front of a window waiting for the birds to show up. She is full of love and cannot wait to make you her favorite human!Location: The Cat Corner (no-kill shelter)85 Fulton StreetHampton, Va. Story
Hi, I'm Meredith and I am going to steal your heart! I am a dainty little girl with a big personality and have so much love left to give! My story has a bit of a sad beginning, I went from having a home to being left outside where I ended up pregnant (my foster was told I had likely had multiple litters of kittens), all before I was even two years old. My foster mom saw me outside and knew I needed help, so she brought me into The Cat Corner family, and now that I have raised my final litter of kittens, I am ready to shine in a furrever home of my own. I really love humans, they give great pets and are the best snugglers! I will immediately run up to meet new friends, even if I have never seen them before, so I am told that I am a special because I really do want to be friends with everyone! Also, you can tell me all about your day, and I am happy to tell you about mine. My favorite activities are playing with feather toys, laying in the window watching the birds and/or squirrels play outside, and like most cats, I enjoy taking naps! I am easy going so I am happy to spend my time relaxing with the family or running around playing, by myself or with friends! Could I be the one for you?Location: Temporary foster home. For an appointment for a meet & greet, please 1) fill out an online adoption application first and 2) email: adopt@thecatcornerinc.com to request an appointment. Story
Hi, my name is Olive! I am a beautiful, fluffy, young little girl that is super sweet and full of energy! I had a bit of a rough start at my first home but since coming into the Cat Corner family things are looking up! I can be a bit shy at first but once I feel comfortable and safe I love being around my people. I do like to tell you about my day and will follow you around while you tell me about yours. I love to be pet and get scratches, I especially love my lick treats! After a round of playing with my wand toys or zoomies, I like to curl up next to you and take a nap. I am a good helper, too! I will lay on the items you were going to use so they don’t fly away. I do not like certain toys that are loud because they still scare me a little. My foster mom says its because I never had toys as a kitten, but I do now, so we are working on it. I would do best in a calmer home without small children. I have not been around dogs but am fine with other laid back cats. Could I be a good fit for you?Location: Temporary foster home. For an appointment for a meet & greet, please 1) fill out an online adoption application first and 2) email: adopt@thecatcornerinc.com to request an appointment.
