Story
Rescued from a flooded shelter in Asheville, Swannanoa and her seven beautiful kittens are ready to flood your hearts with love :). They are all super sweet and playful and love soaking up all the love and attention! They will be ready to go home once they are spayed/neutered this week. At the time you are seeing this post, this cat is still available for adoption. But please know that we may be working on multiple applications already, and any one of them could be approved at any time. Please READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION and complete an adoption application if you are interested in any of our animals. The application can be found at https://greendogsunleashed.org. If you send an inquiry to ask if the cat is still available, or just tell us you are interested, your inquiry will not be answered. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. We can do NOTHING without that. */*/* PLEASE NOTE: We will email you if additional information is needed, so please keep an eye on your inbox and spam folders. */*/* Young kittens will receive age-appropriate vaccines and will be spayed/neutered before adoption. Adopters may be required to provide additional boosters and a rabies vaccine. Future annual vaccines, testing, and healthcare are REQUIRED, and will be the financial responsibility of the adopter. Please note you must submit an application, be approved, and submit a refundable hold deposit before a meet and greet will be scheduled. You can fill out an application here: https://greendogsunleashed.org/adopt While we do allow out-of-state adoptions, the adopter must be able to travel to Charlottesville, Virginia, and meet in person at an agreed-upon time to take their cat home. GDU does ask for a minimum adoption donation of $125.00 for cats. This minimum donation does not cover all expenses as we are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum donation includes age-appropriate vaccines and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying if the animal is medically sound and is unable to undergo surgery. This minimum donation does not even begin to cover each animal's expenses while in rescue, but does go directly towards vet care for our rescue animals. ##2202799##

Story
Oliver is not just your average cat-he's a true lovebug at heart. All he craves in life is love and affection, and he's not shy about showing it. Whether it's a gentle head scratch, a cozy cuddle session, or a warm lap to curl up in, Oliver is all in for some quality time with his favorite humans. This charming fellow gets along famously with adults, cats, and dogs alike, spreading his warmth and friendliness wherever he goes. He's a true social butterfly who thrives on companionship and is always up for a little playtime or a leisurely nap in the sun. Now, when it comes to small children, Oliver is a bit more discerning. While he'll tolerate their presence, he may give a gentle reminder when he's had enough attention by playfully swatting. It's his way of setting boundaries and ensuring he gets the space he needs to recharge. Despite this minor quirk, Oliver is an absolute gem of a cat who would make a wonderful addition to any loving home. With his sweet nature, easygoing personality, and knack for spreading happiness wherever he goes, he's sure to bring joy and laughter to his forever family. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a lovable companion who's always up for a cuddle and a purr, then Oliver is the perfect match for you. Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this sweet soul into your life! If you would like more information on me, please give SVASC a call at (540) 943-5142 or email SVASC at svasc@co.augusta.va.us. I am currently in foster care, so please call ahead and ask about Oliver!

Story
You know how Chainsaws are really loud and rumbly? Well, that's how my purr is, too! I'm a cautious girl who takes her time getting to know new friends whether of the human or feline variety, so one quality I'm looking for in a forever family is patience. Don't worry, though, once we get to know each other, I will give you all the purrs you want, and let you pet my luxuriously soft floof. Want to make the getting to know you stage go a little faster? I love a good treat. Churus and chicken baby food are my faves. I have a playful side, and absolutely adore fishing pole type toys, catnip mice, bouncy balls, and bugs, even though my foster mom says bugs aren't *technically* toys. I would love a 4-legged buddy to hang out with at my new home, someone who can match my energy, someone who is equally ready to stampede around the house at 3:00 AM as they are to snuggle up in a sun puddle and nap the day away. I'm not a talkative girl, and am pretty independent. I like to hang out with my humans, and I reward them with affection and snuggles when they've been good.
