Story
Alice is the social butterfly of the bunch and truly loves her humans. She’s playful, confident, and always the first to investigate something new—especially if it might involve food. Alice adores interactive play and thrives on attention, happily soaking up pets and snuggles whenever they’re offered. She’s great with kids, endlessly patient, and clearly happiest when she’s right in the middle of the action with her people or her siblings. At Queen City Cats, we believe two kittens are better than one! We only adopt kittens 6 months and younger out in pairs or to another household with another young cat for the kitten's social and emotional health.

Story
You've heard of Casper the Friendly Ghost?  Well, that is where this Ghost got his name! [Take Note: Ghost is BONDED with his sister, Tahini Surprise. These 2 need to be adopted together.] LIke a friendly phantom, Ghost isn't boisterous or blunt.  Ghost likes to comes softly rub up against your when you are sitting quietly.  He usually waits until his more active siblings have come to get their snuggles and then moved on to more active entertainment.  Then the next thing you know, this shiny black house panther is politely asking for your attention.  He even likes to be cradled like a baby and will just relax there happy as can be. There is nothing quiet about his purr motor!!!  Once you getting cuddling, on it comes with an awesome roar!  Ghost lets his purr do the talking.  He is just such a sweet little guy, like so many black cats, and like so many black cats, is likely to get overlooked.  The person who can see the sweet boy in his black coat will win the kitten lottery.  Who wouldn't want to be friends with a friendly Ghost?!? To adopt Ghost, please submit an application. Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/login/application/62cc8e128b02916730334440 Video Link: https://youtube.com/shorts/afwr3W83crc?feature=share The adoption fee is $350. Ghost is up to date on vaccines according to age (FVRCP and FeLV & boosters, Rabies), has received proper deworming, and is on flea prevention. He is microchipped, neutered, and has one month free trial of pet insurance if registered by adopter with the insurance company. All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health.) Our transports are USDA certified and the cost of transport is included in adoption fee! Ghost Surprise is currently fostered in Houston, TX but will be traveling to the PNW or BC, Canada (must pick up In Bellingham, WA) as soon as she finds his perfect home.  If you have questions regarding a cat you are interested in please fill out an adoption application. Once received it can take up to a week or more to complete our review. Be assured we have received your application! If you need more information regarding a kitty you are interested in, the process of filling out an adoption application is still required prior to answering detailed questions. We value our potential adopters’ time and appreciate your patience as our staff navigate through the blessing of an overwhelming response for adoptions. Additional questions or concerns can be directed to: Amy@threelittlepittiesrescue.org **** Please be aware that questions or inquiries will not be answered unless an application is already on file for us to review. **** Please go to our website to see more about our rescue and what we do! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit cat and dog rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of cats and dogs from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption to match them to their purrfect family by having them in foster homes so that we can assess their behaviors, how they decompress in a home, and find out more about their unique personalities. We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5-year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $25 Follow along on our rescue journeys via the links below 3LP Kitties Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ 3LP Main Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue
