KNOWS HOW TO 'LET HER FUR DOWN' AND HAVE A GOOD TIME!  DOB 6/30/23 Hey there, everyone! I’m Faith, a sweet, gentle, demure, gorgeous tabico (tabby-calico), which means that I’m mostly white with brown tabby where other calicos have solid black or gray mixed with orange. I have thick, plush medium-length fur, golden-globe eyes, and a glorious fluffy tail, which all adds up to my being eye candy, if I do say so myself. I showed up as a shy but friendly stray at a feeding station for community cats. After my feeder witnessed my surviving a scary encounter with roaming dogs, she decided to release me inside my foster home after my spay surgery. At first I was a little aloof with Foster Meowmy, but she gave me time and space to settle in, and it wasn’t long before I warmed up to her by purring like an outboard motor as I rubbed my pheromones all over her legs. Now I’m living the life of a queen as a strictly indoor kitty, and I don’t miss the hardscrabble outdoor life one bit! I embrace the comforts of the VIP lifestyle – brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and soft spots to cat nap. I get along great with the indoor “colony” of foster kittens and resident cats, and I ignore the 20-pound Chiweenie dog as well as the hooman toddler. I enjoy playing soccer with my jingle-bell balls, and my foster feline siblings join me as we delightedly chase string that Foster Meowmy snakes around the room. When I’m exhausted from playtime, I enjoy lounging in a patch of sunshine on the cat tree while I watch the wildlife fly and scamper by my window view. Now it’s time for me to find my forever loving home. Don’t let my winsome beauty and relaxed demeanor fool you into thinking that I'm stuck up! No siree! Once I feel comfy, I’m an affectionate gal who also knows how to "let down my fur" and have a good time. If you’re looking for a kitty to become your cherished companion and to fill your home with exultant joy, I’m the girl for you! Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 24-0907-S067 If you are interested in Fatih and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
Heidy is a cute medium hair cat. She is very food driven and let you pet her to get what she wants. Heidy is not fond to be lifted and long petting sessions. She is sweet and likes attention on her own terms. Heidy was found living in an abandoned moldy appartment. We suspect she was left behind by her owners. We couldn't left her living in there and starving to die. Heidy is fully vetted now and lives in a foster home but would like to have her own family. Heidy may have lack of initial socialization but she deserves to have a family that accepts her and provide a safe indoors life. Heidy is looking for a savvy cat person that loves and accepts her as she is. She is quiet and would stay by the side of her care giver and accepts petting and play time from time to time. Contact Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com if you could give Heidy the unconditional love she deserves.November 15, 2024, 11:03 am

Introducing Pepper, a curious and independent little girl who spreads whisker happiness and purrs the instant she is picked up. She's the cat's meow and will melt your heart. But she is serious about her playtime, too, romping, jumping, and flying through the air. She loves her play toys and her tunnels, especially the noisy ones, and will chase after anything that moves. When she's exhausted from playtime, she likes to cuddle with her foster mom and take a nap. She is quite social and loves being around her litter mates. She's indoor only and fully litter box trained.

Meet Gabrielle, aka Gabby Girl. She will jump up in the middle of whatever you are doing and turn the purrs on. She's sweet and cuddly; hilarious to watch when she jumps and bounces, sometimes sideways, and into the air, just because she can! She's very social and loves to hang out with other kitties and her foster mom. She doesn't use her claws when she plays rough, but can get rough with her litter mates. She will make a special pal to anyone looking for a special relationship with this unique girl. She is indoor only and is fully litter box trained.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Louis and his sister are the only surviving kittens born from a wild mama. Due to this, they have a strong bond unlike any pair. Louis is laid back like a ragdoll. He has no concept of danger walking up to large dogs on his first day unaware he could have been eaten. He loves to play and is very gentle. Both he and his sister will be good with all ages, although Catalina is likely to escape young ones fast while Louis would be the one in the princess outfit at the tea party. He loves snuggling and purrs as soon as he gets any attention. He got his name because he has had a thing for shoes. You can often find Louis and Catalina napping midday together after running the house playing and rough housing like typical bobsy twins. They are going to make exceptional additions to anyone's family. Louis is fully litter box trained and indoor only. He has been kept off all counter spaces. He has been raised with other cats and large breed dogs where he tries to snuggle and will eat out of their food bowl. Louis has only been given cat toys to play with so he does not attack or scratch human hands and when he scratches furniture he is moved to the scratch post for redirection and seem to take good understanding.

Story
Catalina and her brother Louis are the only surviving kittens born from a wild mama. Due to this, they have a strong bond unlike any pair. Catalina is a sassy thing and protective of her brother. She is playful and feisty, but when you earn her trust, she melts into your lap for long naps. You will know you are hers because she will talk very spirited at you while demanding pets. She is cautious of loud noises and protects her oblivious brother from all the dangers. She enjoys belly rubs, surprise attacking her brother at any moment and fresh cat litter. She is indoor only, fully litter box trained and kept off all counter spaces. She has been around other cats and walks across our very large dogs like she owns the place. She is named Catalina to go with the spice that is her personality including a special twitch she loves to include in her tail as she walks. Catalina has only been given cat toys to play with so she does not attack or scratch human hands and when she scratches furniture she is moved to the scratch post for redirection and seem to take good understanding.

Story
DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES  DOB 8/7/22 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings. I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat. Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around. I hope that I’ve piqued your interest and that you’ll arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with my sister Tris. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 22-1022-E022 If you are interested in Alice and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . STREET URCHIN TO PAMPERED PET  DOB 4/28/23 Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince! My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park. And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic. I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara. If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Zephyr (and don’t forget Banksy!) so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.
