She gets along with other cats but has thus far not allowed much human contact, although she is constantly watching her foster parents and seems to want to be in the same room. She would make a wonderful companion cat for an only cat who needs company. Kaylee is spayed, microchipped, combo tested, vaccinated, and litter trained. The store management called Cat Matchers to help, and we were able to bring them into our our foster system. Spot's siblings and mom were all adopted but sadly he hasn't found his forever home yet. Spot is a bit on the shy side. He loves the cats and has become friends with the parrot in his foster home. He cowers when you try to pet him, as if he has been beaten. He is looking for a home where the humans will love him and have patience with him as he fully blossoms into his personality. He also needs another cat or furry friend with whom he can spend his time. Spot will be shy at first. He does act like he has been hit and so he'll pull away when you reach down to pet him as if he's afraid you're going to hit him. it's very sad. Maui, DOB 12/15/2007, a Long Hair Torbie had Loki, DOB 4/4/2008, Brown Tabby - Natural Born Bobtail when she was only 4 months old.  They were adopted together in 2008.  Sadly, their owner passed recently and the family did not have room to take the cats into their homes.  The owner had Cat Matchers listed in her will, so thankfully the family knew who to call. Maui and Loki are gentle and friendly.  They love being brushed, especially around the chin area. Loki will reach up with both paws to hold the brush or comb in place so she can rub her chin on it while you hold it. They will do the work while you hold the comb or brush for them.  They are a sweet pair who would be a loving addition to your home. Maui recently had to get 15 of her teeth removed, so she needs to eat wet food.  They are particular in their taste and prefer a fish based wet food. Loki is frightened of other animals and would prefer to be in a home without any other animals other than Maui. She has adapted to the foster's small dog and cat, after several months of hiding, but is still scared and not happy about it. She has an endearing habit of standing up on her rear legs and holding onto your hand when she wants you to keep petting her.  She also gently taps you with her paw when she wants petting while looking lovingly at you with her bright green eyes. She has come a long way since being rescued from living outdoors underneath a neighbor's backyard deck and has now grown to love being petted and is very curious about the environment surrounding her. The quickest way to win her over is through wet food. Like the character she's named after, she is not afraid to be vocal about what she likes and doesn't. She prefers to be on high ground so she can observer her siblings as they play but when it comes to nap time, you will find her cuddling right beside the sibling she loves most, Fleur.**Want to adopt? Meet Jinx, a member of the Camp 6 litter. His mom was a feral with a trusting soul who let a kind woman bring her inside to have her kittens. Jinx is a handsome love bug who adores having his belly rubbed and he shows his appreciation with purrs of pleasure. This boy has a relaxed easy-going attitude. He is happy to be close by and does not always have to be the center of attention. His hobbies include scratch post dedication, new toy playability and finding the purrfect place to nap. He likes to show off his gorgeous and glorious fluffy tail (which will be a hit on social media!), by gently waving it at all who will appreciate it’s floof as he confidently walks around. His coat is the envy of his tabby siblings. Would be fine as an only cat or with a cat buddy after proper introduction. His birth date is February 22, 2024. Meet Marcus, a member of the Swifty litter of four kitties and the only boy. They were brought into TMHPR from a local animal shelter and were bottle-fed since they were too young to eat on their own. Now healthy and quite adorable, Marcus is ready for adoption. He is a handsome guy with a great personality. He loves to wrestle, play with toys, snuggle humans, purr really loud and be carried around! He has met the foster family’s resident dog and would need some proper introduction to a cat-friendly dog in a forever home. Marcus also would do well with a cat buddy in a forever home. Meet Floorshark Meet Floorshark! Floorshark is stunning with long soft fur in pristine white and orange. She has bright green eyes. She may need regular brushing to keep her fur in it's best shape. Floorshark's orange side comes out in her personality. Expect her to look at you blankly and watch things that are not there. She is not the brightest in the bunch but it makes for an adorable display of clumsiness and she is so endearing. She is very laid back but not much of a lap cat. She will snuggle at night but generally sits on her own throughout the day. She is enthralled by the TV, so she is a great binge-watching buddy! Floorshark loves affection of every kind, particularly cheek scratches. She also finds a lot of enjoyment in scratching, and we recommend her favorite; a cardboard scratching mat. loorshark was found along with her other littermates after someone had noticed a stray cat in their area was getting closer and closer to delivery. After a couple days with her mother, the observant neighbor scooped up the kittens to ensure they didn't live a life on the street. Meet Dyson! Dyson is on the smaller side and is quite lean. She has a beautiful tortoiseshell coat with tan marbling all over and green eyes. Her long hair is soft and may require some regular brushing. She nurses and kneads for hours when happy Dyson is an incredibly active cat. You may find her parkour-ing across the home at all hours of the day, and is extremely curious about any and everything. She loves to chase her littermates or can entertain herself with a toy. Dyson won't be the best option for those looking for a cuddle buddy but would love to play and tire herself out with high-energy friends and owners. Dyson isn't an overly affectionate cat and prefers that pets remain on her back. She doesn't love her head getting touched in particular, but will just move away and never bites or scratches outside of gentle playing. She has experience with dogs and other cats, but can absolutely shine on her own with her vibrant personality. She may seem unsure, shy, or even scared at first meeting, but once she gets to know you she will bring nothing but fun. QUIET GIRL LOOKING FOR A FAIRLY CALM HOME WITH ADULTS AND GENTLE OLDER KIDS ONLY. TOLERATES HER SIBLINGS, BUT ACTS LIKE SHE WANTS TO BE ALONE. MUST BE YOUR ONLY PET. I`m the littlest cat in my family, and really cute! I often stay off to myself, preferring to be down low a lot. I do climb up higher sometimes when nobody else is around. If I had a cat tree at home, I would probably climb a lot more. Just because I stay to myself doesn`t mean I`m shy with people! I`m definitely not! If the other cats will mind their business, I am a sweet little girl that loves to be pet and rub against your legs and follow you around! Have someone assist in taking me out to visit on our own, you`ll see! Once in awhile I will let you know that I don`t want to be pet, but usually I will grab at your hand wanting more! Watch out for love nips every so often. I`ve even played with some of the little toys once in awhile when others were asleep. I like playing with wand toys, so we can play with those to get rid of some of my worries and stress to make my life more fun! It will give us a chance to enjoy being silly together too! I love soft places to lay, whether it`s a mat, squishy blankets on the furniture or a cozy bed. My favorite place is under the pedestal on the mat. That`s where I am the most. I might prefer my beds under a desk or table if possible, or at least a quieter part of the room with you. I seem to like laying with a stuffed toy. I love getting a few treats everyday, and sometimes I will take them from you if you hold them out to me!
