Story
I found Ren in a raised flower bed outside of a tattoo parlor when I was 18, the shop owner told me the rest of the litter and mom had been taken by animal control and they must not have seen her in the overgrown weeds so naturally I took her home and bottle fed her. I love this cat I really do and she can be very sweet when she wants to be but she'll decide mid-pet while she's sitting in your lap that she actually hates you and will sink her teeth into you. She's great when she's great, she'll sleep in the bed, she'll lay on your face and try to suffocate you, she'll ride on your shoulder, she'll sit in your lap and purr, she really is awesome but she sucks lol. My toddler is scared of her, she's been bit once or twice and everyone else in my house avoids Ren like the plague. I don't expect this ad to work at all but at least it's honest. Ren can stay here forever but I figured I would post her anyways on the off-chance someone else wants this fluffy little nightmare in their house. oh also, she's named after the All Time Low album " the last young renegade" get it? Because she was the last little kitten? Okay, it's lame but I was still deep in my emo/scene/awkward phase, sue me!

Story
Thomas is a special little man that truly won our hearts! I did a image search through google and his breed came up as a York Chocolate but I'm not really sure. His coat is a beautiful swirl of chocolate/brown and black. He also has the most stunning green eyes! He first found us when he made his home underneath ours. He was incredibly scared and we only knew he was there from slight glances occasionally. We began to leave food out for him as he was very skinny and he would only come out when we'd go back inside. We caught him a few times with his face in the bowl but he would immediately run off and hide underneath the house. Slowly we began to earn his trust. We would move his bowl closer to us so that he would inch closer himself. After 6 long months of a push and shove war, he allowed us to pet him. From then on, he rapidly became the sweet, cuddly, and talkative boy he was meant to be! Unfortunately, because we do dog rescue and have many dogs inside, we are unable to bring him inside too. However, we have a truck parked next to our door ramp (where he began to sleep to stay cool a few months after we started feeding him) that we have completely blocked off so that he has a safe area to hide if needed. He'll usually sleep in there or on our ramp (depending on the weather) until we come out to sit with him. He immediately starts to meow and rub on us until we pick him up or sit down so he can sit on our legs. He's extremely affectionate but is still wary of the outside world (loud noises, passing cars, dogs barking, etc..). I believe with a little patience, he'd really be an amazing house cat! He occasionally does try to walk into our house because I think he wants to be with us which I really wish was a possibility. If we didn't have so many rescues with such high pray drive, we'd honestly keep him. But we sadly can't and as much as we try to keep him safe, he is a cat, and he does wonder around the property. It is rare and I don't believe he goes far, but it's still a worrying thing, especially with the number of stray dogs in our area. We really hope to find someone who could give him the love he deserves! We've rescued very few cats but from the one's we've helped, he's probably the coolest little guy we've ever had the pleasure of having with us. Please consider Thomas as the new addition to your home! He will need help acclimating to being an inside cat but I know he would just be so happy once he's settled!
