KNOWS HOW TO 'LET HER FUR DOWN' AND HAVE A GOOD TIME!  DOB 6/30/23 Hey there, everyone! I’m Faith, a sweet, gentle, demure, gorgeous tabico (tabby-calico), which means that I’m mostly white with brown tabby where other calicos have solid black or gray mixed with orange. I have thick, plush medium-length fur, golden-globe eyes, and a glorious fluffy tail, which all adds up to my being eye candy, if I do say so myself. I showed up as a shy but friendly stray at a feeding station for community cats. After my feeder witnessed my surviving a scary encounter with roaming dogs, she decided to release me inside my foster home after my spay surgery. At first I was a little aloof with Foster Meowmy, but she gave me time and space to settle in, and it wasn’t long before I warmed up to her by purring like an outboard motor as I rubbed my pheromones all over her legs. Now I’m living the life of a queen as a strictly indoor kitty, and I don’t miss the hardscrabble outdoor life one bit! I embrace the comforts of the VIP lifestyle – brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and soft spots to cat nap. I get along great with the indoor “colony” of foster kittens and resident cats, and I ignore the 20-pound Chiweenie dog as well as the hooman toddler. I enjoy playing soccer with my jingle-bell balls, and my foster feline siblings join me as we delightedly chase string that Foster Meowmy snakes around the room. When I’m exhausted from playtime, I enjoy lounging in a patch of sunshine on the cat tree while I watch the wildlife fly and scamper by my window view. So easy to love! “Lucky for me, my self esteem is high. Like off the charts high. I can take a bit of criticism but if the worst someone could say about you is that you (and I mean a feline you) doesn’t like riding in cars, taking a bath and small children, I would say that you are A-OK by me. Who are these cats that DO like cars, baths and kids? Well, I already know that I don’t like them either. Add them to my No-Go list. Have these cats not read the “How to be Feline” manual? The manual states quite clearly that enjoying any of these is optional and I opt out. Let’s discuss what I do like, and I bet there are some folks out there that will completely support me here. 1. We found Blue's mom last year (October 2023). To our surprise she was pregnant (I'm almost positive someone dumped her). We took great care of Feta (momma cat) throughout her pregnancy and sat with her while she delivered 4 healthy kittens. I cared for them all and found homes for 3 of the 4 and Bleu is the last one, he was the only male and for some reason no one wants a male cat. He's very sweet, loves cuddles and loves to play. I did not expect to have any cats and cannot keep him and his mom. I would love to find him a great home with lots of love. We will be moving in the near future and cannot take Blue or his mom Feta. He needs to be able to go outside from time to time, so a home versus an apartment would be best for him.

All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration.

DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES  DOB 8/7/22 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings. I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat. Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around. STREET URCHIN TO PAMPERED PET  DOB 4/28/23 Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince! My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park. And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic. I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara.
