She plays hard with her siblings.  You can’t tell she has anything wrong with her when she runs and plays with everyone in the house.  She has learned how to get on the bed with a small set of steps.  Climbs on cat trees. We can find her on the back of the recliner sleeping as if she owns it. We find her on the bed each morning snuggled up with everyone. She uses the litter box like everyone else. Eats both wet and dry food.Adoption Fee:$130. She is a bit more shy than her brother, but very energetic during play. She is cautious with new things but adjust very quickly. She immediately begins to purr when you pick her up. She loves to play with her brother, Anthony. Fostered in a house with cats and dogs; loves to be with our adult cat, a bit wary of the dogs but warmed up to the calm ones after some time. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Estimated Date of Birth 8/2/23 Callisto is a shy & sweet dilute tortoisehell, estimated to be just around a year old. Sometime this past June, she found her way to a neighborhood’s cat colony, where residents noticed the new kitty and although there was a plan to catch her and ensure she was spayed/or get her spayed, it seems it was too late.    Thankfully, she joined the right cat colony as one of the residents was able to grab her, while another resident was able to provide her a safe space for her to give birth, and just in time too, as she gave birth to her 5 kittens 4 days later!    Although she seemed scared while she was outside, it turns out she’s the complete opposite. As soon as she realized she and her future babies (at the time) were safe and inside, she was more than happy to demand pets and cuddles from her foster who reached out to Proverbs 12:10 seeking assistance on her and her babies’ behalf.    Now that she’s done a great job at raising her babies, and retiring from motherhood, this gorgeous girl would like a chance to forever kitten, where patient humans are going to dote on her, and help her regain that confidence she’s hiding!    Her favorite things are wet food, all sorts of good attention: chin/ear/tail/scratches, pets, and even chest rubs!   She’s willing to get pedicures (aka nail trims) and get carried around by her future humans, and in turn she would like to bake them her air biscuits and provide her excellent services as a conversation partner.      *unsure at this time about other cats/ but she does seem to get excited when she sees the resident cats peeking around the corner - probably the right temperament/personality match * tortitude is still there * dogs unknownAdoption Fee: $130Callisto is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and negative for Feline leukemia and FIV. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 14, 2024, 5:24 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet our NCIS litter - born 10/8/24 Gibbs, McGee, Ducky, Jimmy, Ziva & Casey See each cat separately for photos. All kittens are equally affectionate & loveable.  Cuddle bugs that welcome human touch.  That contact brings on the Kitty Motor Purrs.  Fostered with cats, dogs and small children. Presently all 6 are available for "hold" or "preadoption".  Normally, all kittens remain in rescue until spay/neutered.  However, if you are local (Dickson or Lyles) and preapproved the kitty may be released early with full adoption fee.  You would be required to bring back to us for surgery.  This is all something that we can discuss.  Case by case situation.  Just Ask.  The NCIS litter is being fostered in Lyles with meet & greets welcomed.                                                                        All holds will require a $50 deposit.  Adoption fee $130 for 1 kitten and $210 for 2.  If you see a kitty that you're interested in we suggest & recommend you submit an application, because others are.  A kitty could be adopted by the time your inquiry comes thru.                       * It does happen.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 19, 2024, 10:45 pm
