Story
Introducing Nurse Gretchen, the 5-month-old black domestic medium hair kitten with a heart of gold and the soul of a true caretaker—she’s like the “Spaceballs” of kitten compassion! With her soft fur and gentle purrs, she’s always ready to be the “Schwartz” to your day, making sure everyone feels loved and cozy. Nurse Gretchen gets along with kids, cats, dogs—basically, everyone in the galaxy. She’s the perfect sidekick for any adventure, bringing balance and calm, just like a true hero of the space frontier. If you need a loyal, nurturing, and sweet companion, Nurse Gretchen is here to make your life feel out of this world! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
