Domestic Mediumhair kittens & cats in Brookings, South Dakota

Mewmew is an outside cat who wandered to our house a couple of years ago, probably from a neighboring farm or dropped off out in the country. The old barn had to be torn down and the other barn cat left last year. He has a heated house but I worry it’s not enough if he’s alone and he is getting older. Our family is unable to take him in and house train him. He has always been an outside cat. Looking for a loving person or family who would be willing to take the time to bring him in and teach him to be an inside cat. Or he would be very happy as a barn cat with other cats, he seems to be fairly friendly with locals that wander in and out. He has been friendly with our dogs when they wander outside, but he’s not spend a lot of time with them. Would be great with older kids, he comes when you call and loves pettings.

While Lorelai doesn't love being held, she is learning and if you're giving ear scratches at the same time she is more than happy to purr in your ear. She is a talker! You will never wonder where she is, she will let you know. While most cats are shy at first Lorelai may be be more shy than others, with patience and love you have a life long bestie.
