Sasha the Snuggly Lap Cat Subject: Meet Sasha – Your Perfect Lap Kitty Awaits! Dear Potential Adopter Family, Thank you for considering adoption! We are currently working as a liaison to help find a loving home for Sasha, a beautiful 2-year-old chocolate tortie. Sasha is a sweet and gentle lap kitty who came from a hoarding situation, and despite her difficult beginnings, she is ready to shower her future family with love and affection. Sasha has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on all vaccinations. While she can be a little shy at first, once she warms up to you, she’ll be your purring companion, happily snuggling in your lap for hours. She’s been waiting for a home since July 30th, 2024, and we know she will make the perfect addition to the right family—especially someone who’s looking for a cat that enjoys plenty of lap time! If you’re interested in learning more about Sasha or would like to meet her, please reach out to us. We would love to tell you more about this wonderful cat and help you make the perfect match. Thank you for your interest in giving Sasha the loving home she deserves! Warmly, The Dedicated Team at Duffie’s Dames One of our enthusiastic Board Members’ kids worked hard on writing Sasha’s Song … I’m Sasha, the lap kitty, so calm and sweet, In your loving arms, I’ll take my seat. With soft purring whispers and eyes full of grace, I’ll make your lap my favorite place. From a tough start, I’ve come this far, Ready to be your shining star. Take me home, we’ll never part, Together we’ll share a happy heart.

Story
- He loves to watch cat tv/ cat games on YouTube. - He’s a sucker for head and tail rubs. He’ll headbutt you or do his little dance when he wants your attention - His birthday is March 3, 2021 - He’s very picky when it comes to his food. He’ll only eat Iams brand. I try to stay away from soft food because it causes his to have diarrhea. - His food bowl is a gravity feeder But if the bottom of the food bowl isn’t completely covered in food he won’t eat it. (He’s a little spoiled). - He uses his cat scratch pad when stressed. I sprinkle a little catnip on it every few days. - He doesn’t care for cat treats. - He LOVES LOVES LOVES a laser pointer. I use it to tire him out before bed.

Story
This young lady is with a foster Mom learning to adapt as an indoor kitty living with people. Her progress has been remarkable. She is as sweet as can be without a mean bone in her petite body. She is shy and a bit withdrawn until she feels safe and sound. Loud noises can scare her into hiding. She will be best in a quiet home. She gets along with other cats. Zelda is FIV positive. Don’t let that discourage you from adopting her. She is very healthy. Read below facts of FIV. Please contact Daren Watson; founder and owner of the Sanctuary. It best to text her if are interested in meeting Zelda. +1 (843) 455-6199 Quick Facts of FIV: FIV is a retrovirus that compromises a cat’s immune system. FIV is a feline-only virus that cannot be transmitted to humans. Cats who test positive for FIV can live for many years without serious symptoms. A positive FIV test result SHOULD NOT be a death sentence. FIV is most often transmitted through a bite from an infected cat Therefore, cats who test positive for FIV CAN live with FIV-negative cats with minimal risk of transmission as long as they do not fight to the point of biting. A positive FIV test in a cat is not necessarily a diagnosis. False positives can occur. We strongly recommend against testing community cats for FIV. Spaying and neutering is key to preventing FIV spread by minimizing biting behavior that is the main mode of transmission. More and more shelters realize FIV-positive cats are adoptable and creating lifesaving adoption programs for them.
