Story
Norry was just returned to the shelter at no fault of her own. She was adopted from ARC as akitten and brought back when the owner had to move and couldn’t take her with them. Norrycame from a colony of feral cats and was in very bad shape as a kitten. Now that Norry is anadult she is big, healthy and has beautiful long fur! We couldn’t even tell as a kitten that Norrywas going to be a long haired cat but she has grown into such a lovely, luxurious girl! Norry canbe a bit shy but once she warms up she loves to be held and be a purry lap cat.Norry is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and tested negative for felv and fiv. Toadopt, please go to our website nokillarc.org and fill out our adoption preapproval form locatedat the bottom of the “adoptable cats” tab. Once we receive your form we will email you toproceed with the adoption process.

Story
Hello, I'm Vanna. I'm young and full of life, always curious about the world around me. My days are filled with exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings. I've learned that every corner holds a new adventure. I'm also quite the cuddler. There's nothing I love more than snuggling up to a friendly face, purring contentedly. I've got a sweet and friendly nature that makes me a great companion. I'm always ready to greet anyone with a soft nudge and a warm purr. I believe that every day is a new opportunity to make friends and share love. So why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with warmth, love, and endless cuddles. I'm not just a cat, I'm a friend for life. I can't wait to start our journey together. To adopt me please fill out the online application at: https://cocoakitties.org/adoption-application Cocoa Kitties rescues cats off the streets of Hershey and surrounding towns. We are a 501(c)(3) organization that is funded 100% by donations. We do not operate a shelter but keep our kitties in foster homes. We rely on foster families who open their homes to care for the kitties we rescue. We ask that you complete an application before we send you into the homes of our volunteers. Also please keep in mind that applications are always being processed so we cannot guarantee the availability of a kitty until your application is approved. We operate on a first approved basis. We work very hard to process applications in a timely manner but rely on your references, veterinarian, and landlord to respond so please let them know we will be contacting them. ~You must be 21 years of age or older to adopt. ~Your current pets need to be up to date on vaccinations and preventatives and they need to be altered. ~ If you are adopting a kitten and have no other pets at home please consider adopting two. Kittens thrive in pairs. Kittens: $125 Cats: $100 Before they go home our kitties are: · Vaccinated age appropriately (Rabies and FVRCP) · Treated for internal and external parasites* · Tested for FELV/FIV · Microchipped · Spayed/Neutered (for kittens that is around 12 weeks of age) · Started on flea prevention *Parasites are common in kittens and cats and may take time to treat completely. We cannot guarantee that your cat or kitten will be completely worm/parasite free at adoption. We do not declaw our kitties and do not allow adopters to declaw them. We require our kitties to live indoor lives. Lifetime Commitment: Please remember a kitty requires a 100% committed family for the kitty's entire lifetime which is some cases can be more than 20 years. Talk this through completely with your family and make sure everyone is onboard before completing this application.
