Story
Bud showed up in the spring and has been living outside and on our back porch since. I already have outside and inside cats and am trying to slim down. He is ok with other cats once they get used to each other. He is very friendly towards most people. He is like a gentle giant. Good cat if you don't want a real energetic cat. I had him to the vet recently. Had rabies shot, clean bill of health.

Story
This is Maybel. She is a really good kitty. She likes to snuggle under the blankets with you after she gets warmed up to you. She enjoys treats and playing with feathers on strings. She enjoys being with her people but she also isn't a clingy cat, she likes her space and respects yours for the most part. The reason why I am trying to rehome her is because she will not pee inside her litter box. I have had her to the vet, with no issues coming up, tried different litter, different food, she has her own area of the house where only I and 1 other person go so that she feels safe. I am a newbie cat owner, but she is not a cat for newbies. I had originally gotten her from the Lanc SPCA and would really like to not have her go back there. So please contact me if you are an experienced cat owner and are interested.

Story
Persimmon will be 4 months old on New Years Eve! After a rough start she is anxiously awaiting her forever home. This beautiful girl is a little more timid than the rest of her siblings. She would probably do best in a quieter home to start. She does enjoy being held by her humans. She gets along with the other kittens but has not been around dogs. She is up to date on vaccines, treated for worms, fleas, lice and ringworm and is Micro-chipped. When she came into the rescue with her three siblings from a large colony. They had so many issues, it was heartbreaking that at only 4 weeks of life there were covered in fleas, full of roundworm, had ringworm and lice. They spent nearly 8 weeks in quarantine in our bathroom as they received bathes every other day for four weeks as well as constant combing to rid the lice nits. If you’d love to meet this beautiful little girl go ahead and inquire here or go to our facebook page Feline Solutions Inc. to fill out an application. .

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!October 14, 2024, 6:08 pm

Story
I adopted Pepper in Nov of 2015' when she was just 4 months old. She is now 9 yrs old. She would do best with another adult cat or by herself. She loves watching the birds and squirrels outside and expects her morning treats and occasional " Ghanja" ( catnip). She is very loyal and will sit with you and study your every move. She's a lover and just wants the love returned. We are all she knows so this separation won't be easy for us, we will miss her terribly. I MUST relocate and I cannot give her what she deserves and most certainly needs. If you're looking for a laid back bestie, consider messaging me
