Story
Spoons is 2yo and sweet as pie, she will keep rubbing her head against your hand as long as you will let her. She’s mostly quiet, only squeaking when she needs something. She’s lived with cats and dogs, and she will fit into any home. I wish I could keep her so much, but I can’t pay my rent and I don’t want her to be homeless. She eats wet and dry food and uses the litterbox perfectly.

Story
Nelda was trapped as part of a TNR effort near a diner in Highspire. The kittens were too small for surgery when they were trapped , so they transferred in to our rescue in hopes to find a nice indoor home. She is estimated to have been born in August 2024 Nelda is currently living at a foster home in  York, PA along with her sisters Joyce and Dorothy. Nelda can be a little hissy to start with, but she is beginning to learn that nice humans can be pretty cool. She will need regular brushing since her hair is longer. Nelda's adoption donation is  $165___ and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter/spay. If you would like more information on  Nelda , please contact Debbie at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I am known as Greenbelt Gus! I was found all by myself on the Greenbelt when my foster Dad was going for a run. I had two sores on my paws and was emaciated. I had signs of abuse, and my foster Mom believes I was dumped. I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines and have tested negative for FIV/Leukemia. I have also been treated for fleas & worms.  I like to be held! I know, that's a rarity, but I can't help myself. Carry me around like a baby & love me! I am comfortable around both my foster Mom & my Dad, and I also live with cat & dog siblings! I do not prefer small children but would be happy in a house with older children that are cat-friendly!  Please stop by the Petco in Harrisburg & visit with me! Be sure to sign my visitor log book! You can apply for me at www.castawaycritters.org/adopt or inquire about me via email at info@castawaycritters.org. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2024, 10:53 pm

Story
He is a sweet boy of eight years old, affectionate, and a cuddle bug. He gets along with other cats in time. He's patient and gentle with kids unless pushed too far. He loves attention and cuddling and needs to be in a home where he can be watched due to his over-eating tendencies.

Story
Approx DOB: December 2023 Mystique, or Mysty for short, is a medium-haired beauty with a gentle, yet playful spirit. One day she just walked into someone’s garage and wanted petted and fed. Mysty is a lovely and happy gal who enjoys playing with springs, balls, and cat wands. She also loves watching birds and squirrels outside. Mysty likes to be around people and enjoys head scratches and petting. She startles a bit with loud noises or sudden movements, so she would likely do best in a home without small children. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). Hello, I'm Vanna. I'm young and full of life, always curious about the world around me. My days are filled with exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings. I've learned that every corner holds a new adventure. I'm also quite the cuddler. There's nothing I love more than snuggling up to a friendly face, purring contentedly. I've got a sweet and friendly nature that makes me a great companion. I'm always ready to greet anyone with a soft nudge and a warm purr. I believe that every day is a new opportunity to make friends and share love. So why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with warmth, love, and endless cuddles. I'm not just a cat, I'm a friend for life. I can't wait to start our journey together. To adopt me please fill out the online application at: https://cocoakitties.org/adoption-application Cocoa Kitties rescues cats off the streets of Hershey and surrounding towns. We are a 501(c)(3) organization that is funded 100% by donations. We do not operate a shelter but keep our kitties in foster homes. We rely on foster families who open their homes to care for the kitties we rescue. We ask that you complete an application before we send you into the homes of our volunteers. Also please keep in mind that applications are always being processed so we cannot guarantee the availability of a kitty until your application is approved. We operate on a first approved basis. We work very hard to process applications in a timely manner but rely on your references, veterinarian, and landlord to respond so please let them know we will be contacting them. ~You must be 21 years of age or older to adopt. ~Your current pets need to be up to date on vaccinations and preventatives and they need to be altered. ~ If you are adopting a kitten and have no other pets at home please consider adopting two. Kittens thrive in pairs. Kittens: $125 Cats: $100 Before they go home our kitties are: · Vaccinated age appropriately (Rabies and FVRCP) · Treated for internal and external parasites* · Tested for FELV/FIV · Microchipped · Spayed/Neutered (for kittens that is around 12 weeks of age) · Started on flea prevention *Parasites are common in kittens and cats and may take time to treat completely. We cannot guarantee that your cat or kitten will be completely worm/parasite free at adoption. We do not declaw our kitties and do not allow adopters to declaw them. We require our kitties to live indoor lives. Lifetime Commitment: Please remember a kitty requires a 100% committed family for the kitty's entire lifetime which is some cases can be more than 20 years. Talk this through completely with your family and make sure everyone is onboard before completing this application.
